Why does no one do the same haircut (also just as long in its length) but with SHORTER BANGS???? Meaning, say for example, this very same haircut ('waterfall' like haircut, cascading evenly from the shorter point, namely the bangs) BUT with the bangs still being much shorter (for example, just above the eyebrows) just as it would be in a 1970's round-halo-cut??? ***Again, i'm talking about the same exact haircut, in the same exact length BUT with much shorter (yet connected to and flowing/cascading evenly downwards) rounded bangs.***

Saved myself $100 on a haircut; have fine & medium length hair that's naturally wavy. Watched this a few times, then gave it a whirl and... bam! I'm happy with the results. Only took about an inch off but it's noticeably cleaner on the ends. Also created my own face-framing layers, which added a little dimension. Thanks so much. You rock.

I just wanted to say with this horrifying economy I can't see my hairdresser for color and cut. I did my own color but needed a cut bad! I followed your tutorial and also used some thinning shears on tips to give more jiggity jaggity and it turned out great. I had to do a tiny bit of layering fixes but seriously, I think it is cuter than my hairstylist did (shhhh don't tell). Thank you!!

The u shape is still a bit pointed .. In self cut it could be pretty difficult to trim it.. Can you show how to get rid of that pointed end in u shaped??

Per my initial comment....i just finished. So far it doesn't look too bad, i didn't cut the back as short as in the video (more can be cut off if needed, but you can't put it back on if initially cut too short). Gonna use straightening iron on back & sides, 1" curling iron across the top. I think it's gonna look good 😊

I'm trying this now, it looks easy to diy. Will post again giving the final result 🤞🤞
