I tried this last night and it looks really good! I rate it 9/10. Might be better if someone else did it on me. But I think you can’t really tell that it’s a DIY job like it looks good/decent, it doesn’t stand out for the wrong reasons.

That was a 180° cut back in the 90's when I went to cosmetology school. Best cut for beautiful layers in my curly hair 😁

An idea I had was: after sectioning and creating the ponytails, to lay down and tie the elastics at the tip to ensure that they will all be of equal length. I hope it is helpful to others

Option 2 isnt advisable for thin hair. I tried it before and my hair looked thinner and also choppy. Thin hair really just needs face framing layers and thats it
