1k+ in two years is pretty good. I started almost 3 years ago and subbed to people around the same time as me who are higher or lower by a few hundred. It definitely fluctuates depending on posting, algorithm and whatever else. And I really wish booktubers talked more about money too. I know it’s kinda uncomfy but I’m so curious, and I don’t think anything is wrong with discussing that personally. Totally get why people wouldn’t want to though

I’ve never read Stalking Jack the Ripper and you’re so right, it reminds me of dark romance and the title would made me think that the main girl would have a romantic relationship with Jack the Ripper haha But I don’t like dark romance and your description made me want to read it since it’s not it

the new SJTR cover is screaming faerie romantasy and they had to know that. wish I had been in the room because there was a real chance to make something proper with a sort of wallpaper pattern, pinned specimen vibe that gave eerie Victorian (or whichever era) vibes. I also loathe how the moth/butterfly is not properly contrasted against the background. everything looks dull
