Very interesting looking game you have produced. I designed a Medieval London Bridge board game where players built the bridge and had to survive life around and on London Bridge and avoid being sent to the tower or have your head displayed on traitors gate. All made 13 years ago and presented on KZbin hoping to generate some interest. All off the back of a full 3D digital animated model I built. I would have loved to have had the game published. Would you like to collaborate with some interesting animations that could run alongside your board game and be viewed on a phone? Sorry, I just bought this game (second-hand). And I didn’t understand... The rules in box: “A tile must be placed on the bottom row, or such that at least one square is directly above a previously placed tile. Only one square is needed to be above the tile.” So you can't build a tower by simply placing the tallest tile on the tallest one, like you do at 4:00 and 4:33

I wish you hadn’t used a robot voice dub and doing creepy AI/deepfake stuff to their mouths to make it look like they are speaking English. Subtitles or real English speaking are the way to go. The fact that you would use this in your video is uncanny and has completely put me off having anything to do with purchasing. I didn’t base this off your note, I only read that after seeing this with my own eyes and hearing with my own ears!

It's incredible that considering how much money you guys make, your participation in expos and conventions globally, and how long you've been producing games, that this is the best overview you can muster, without meaningful closeups or excitement. It is the bare minimum. It's incredible. This isn't 2010.

We have a discusion about the rules for the shipping action. It is aloud to move your ship (paying with cubes offcource) and have a stop on an crane harbour to fill your ship with goods from your warehouse and also to put 1 worker on your ship and move on with your journey (if you have the cubes to pay for) ? I'm asking this because in the rulebook the action to fill your ship looks like it is an action on it's own, that makes the rule confusing? Please help us to explane this rule better, thanks in advance.

I mean I sure wish you called it something else, considering Dragon Quest is already a video game series, a table-top rpg, at least one other board game, and at least one book that I know of, all unrelated to each other. People seriously need to stop naming stuff Dragon Quest.

oh boy, Dungeonquest brought me into board gaming AND fantasy gaming at the same time but I have so many concerns. Why are there so many tokens when half of the sheet is used for a single artwork? Why are there so many dungeon nodes when there are no junctions or dead ends? Is this multiplayer solo? etc. I hope this works out

I suppose, when deciding which games to add to the city collection, it helped a lot that some of the games where names of cities to begin with like Macao and Bruges.

I like all the changes and I actually prefer to see realistic bottles printed than have boring cubes that look nothing like what they would have used anyway. I also like that the religious Catholic tone was changed to instead depict angels instead of very strong religious theme. It's more universal that way.

I'm sorry Stefan. I love you to death but this looks awful. I'm sticking with my original, alea copy which has served me beautifully so far. I will be forced to get Hamburg however because I can't find an english version of Bruges anywhere. And honestly that version doesn't seem so bad. But Macao is a very elegant, humble game and the aesthetics of the alea version were perfect for it.

Uff, a tough gambling simulator. I hope there are enough strategic choices to make!

I like the new art and some of the changes. However, the paint tokens are a huge downgrade. If the reason was to make the game color-blind friendly, perhaps introduce wooden shapes instead? Like the goods tokens in carpe diem; way better for tactility

Sieht eigentlich nach nem guten Spiel für Zwischendurch aus. In meiner Familie ist es langweilig geworden, die Leute wollen alle keine tiefgründigen Strategiespiele mehr Spielen. Siedler ist zuviel, bei Carcassonne hat meine Schwester direkt keinen Spaß mehr wenn man sie nicht "in Ruhe lässt" (was ist dann der Sinn des Spiels frag ich mich?) und von Dominion oder anderlei coolen Spiele brauch ich ja gar nich erst anfangen, ist ja viel zu kompliziert. Monopoly dauert wieder allen zu lange oder wenn man wo zu Besuch ist, machen die Kinder noch Terz und die Eltern können nicht mal 45 Minuten aufhören denen den Puderzucker in den Hintern zu pusten. Richtige Spieleabende gibts nicht mehr, da ist sowas schnelles noch eher machbar.

Having played Macao many times, I would have liked some more detailed info from Stefan himself about the changes.

You guys removed one of the very good expansions which is really bad ! Also wooden cubes were better than the tokens.

Really bugs me when the narrator calls the player "he" even when the player is a woman.

I am very interested in this game because I love to play cooperative games. I have to say that the explanation is not clear, which is really not ok for a video coming from the publisher itself... I really recommend finding someone who is an experienced demonstrator of boardgames. Just a tip :)

Darf man im letzten Zug auch die Plättchen zuerst ausspielen wenn man für die 3 Siedlungen der "Pflichtaktion" dann nicht mehr genug Siedlungen hat sprich nur noch 2 Siedlungen hat.,

Danke! Tolles Spiel, aber ich war mir immer unsicher ob Scheiben mit mehreren Würfeln benutzt werden dürfen. Das stand in der Anleitung leider nicht explizit drin und aus „ein Würfel darf nicht mehrfach zugeordnet werden“ könnte man es neben der für sich schon logischen und damit eigentlich unnötigen Aussage und darum eben etwas verwirrend falsch interpretieren. Nur der Händler...den müsste man etwas begrenzen, da kann eine Runde leider zu schnell vorbei sein...

Kingdom Builder ist ein super Spiel. Ich habe mir ein Spiel bei www.h-and-g.de gekauft. Da gibt es ab und zu super Spiele zu super Preisen. Einfach mal reinschauen. Dankt mir später ^^

What is the purpose of the reserve? Why not just place the tiles you get directly into your city? Why remove tiles from your city and put them into the reserve? I'm missing something here.
