Card was already ripped and the left card is folded with the image on one side and the big card folding open to with the same image but bigger. Keep an I on and note the left hands size to the card before he covers and then after uncovering it.plus the size of his fingers on both hands as he tries to make you think they are the same size.

I think the first and third trick have a very specific mechanic in common. Both are incredibly impressive and I'm still not 100% sure on how the first trick was done, but I'm pretty confident I know how the Rubik's cube trick is done.

Goes between thumb and top if palm on left hand then when they pretend to place on pointer of right hand it’s actually going on the pinky . For such few moves a lot looks like it’s happening but really they just pass it to one hand and back to the other the rest is Mr.mime

The hand on our right is much closer to the camera than the remaining one after the card flip then "line up".

He blocks the one half of the card when he brings the other half up to the camera. That’s when he changes the blocked card. Notice how much bigger the card is once it is unblocked. When making the two sides touch, its perspective, the one hand is closer to the camera to give the illusion the two halves are the same size.

Knowing exactly how he does it does not make it any less impressive.
