I have literally just thrown away so many of these stripper clips as all my ammo comes in the form of clips in the first place.

Supposedly, there’s a “tall” version of these, which seems likely for holding 4 - 6 100 amp-hour lithium-iron phosphate cells.

You need to make them from spring steel. I've been making my own clips for years with a home made forge, it's not rocket science, spend an afternoon learning how to blacksmith and you'll probably have the skills to make them.

Just to clarify: the cans are named for the size of round it can fit in belts stacked into it to feed into a machine gun. 50 cal cans are wide enough for 50BMG belted and 30 cal cans fit belted 30-06 or 7.62x51.

Guess I should try it. Been awhile since BCT and if I remember correctly we were loading from the top with M16-A1 20 round mags . Thanks.

I've got a 30 cal can that has "GMK" stamped where the manufacturer code should be. The can has been painted so I can't see the stenciiling for more information. Can anyone point me to where I can find out how old it is? I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything.

Stack that stuff deep in 50 cal cans with some silica gel in each can and keep it in a cool dry controlled environment and it’ll long outlast your lifetime.
@shockwave6213
@shockwave6213 2 жыл бұрын
I would recommend dumping all your FMJ into cans designated by the grain and throw some Silica Gel packets in like previously stated. My reasoning for taking it out of the box is that you can fit more per can loose and also, cardbaoard has the potential to hold moisture. However, the potential to hold onto moisture isn't much of an issue if stored right. Just however you want really.

What I'm struggling with is including a stripper clip guide in every bandaler and still having room to get all of them in.
@gscotty311
@gscotty311 2 жыл бұрын
I put the spoon or guide in the far right pocket of each bandolier. I put it on the right side of the cardboard insert in that pocket so that it’s not in between another pocket making it more difficult to fold the bandoliers. With the guide on the far right pocket and also to the right of the insert you can fold it more compact. When placing the first four bandoliers in the can, I place them in each corner so that the guide is contacting the can as opposed to orienting them so that the guide is toward the center of the can. Those four are crucial in how you place them. I REALLY struggled fitting them all in until Clean Ammo Cans uploaded this video. I tried to place the fifth bandolier in the center between the two sets of bandoliers and tore the hell out of the inserts trying to do so. The way these guys show you is the first video i’ve seen where the remove they lid and place the fifth all the way to the back as opposed to the center like the myriad of videos show you. The part CRUCIAL to making that fifth bandolier fit easily is to lift up on the handles of the two bandoliers enough so that you can then press down on all three at the same time to get them to fit as opposed to trying to jam that fifth bandolier by itself. Demonstrated here 3:40 …Great trick!
