Not sure I want the cardboard in there for long term storage. Anyone else agree with this?

I have literally just thrown away so many of these stripper clips as all my ammo comes in the form of clips in the first place.
@dennisyoung46317 ай бұрын
Supposedly, there’s a “tall” version of these, which seems likely for holding 4 - 6 100 amp-hour lithium-iron phosphate cells.

If you use the desiccant pack that Clean Ammo Can sells you can fit one of them along with a stripper clip guide.

You need to make them from spring steel. I've been making my own clips for years with a home made forge, it's not rocket science, spend an afternoon learning how to blacksmith and you'll probably have the skills to make them.

Just to clarify: the cans are named for the size of round it can fit in belts stacked into it to feed into a machine gun. 50 cal cans are wide enough for 50BMG belted and 30 cal cans fit belted 30-06 or 7.62x51.

I have bought beaucoup re-pack kits from y'all for the M-1A. And will be getting more. Was loading from the top with guide. The method you showed for the 10 round clip AR looks better. Guess I should try it. Been awhile since BCT and if I remember correctly we were loading from the top with M16-A1 20 round mags . Thanks.

I've got a 30 cal can that has "GMK" stamped where the manufacturer code should be. The can has been painted so I can't see the stenciiling for more information. Can anyone point me to where I can find out how old it is? I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything.

Stack that stuff deep in 50 cal cans with some silica gel in each can and keep it in a cool dry controlled environment and it’ll long outlast your lifetime.
@shockwave62132 жыл бұрын
I would recommend dumping all your FMJ into cans designated by the grain and throw some Silica Gel packets in like previously stated. My reasoning for taking it out of the box is that you can fit more per can loose and also, cardbaoard has the potential to hold moisture. However, the potential to hold onto moisture isn't much of an issue if stored right. Just however you want really.
