I think the reason why he trained his darkside students like that because they needed to be deposed easily and to let Sidious now that there will not be a Asajj Ventress incident. Sidious knew Dooku's views on sabercombat and when Sidious noticed Asajj Ventress became a bit to powerfull. He force choked dooku accros the galaxy. His later students didnt got the same level of training or attention from Dooku in comparison to Asajj Ventress.

The way I see it is that palp was such a mastermind that no one would’ve ever discovered him if anakin didn’t join him. By joining palp for years he at least discovered who he was for everyone else and would EVENTUALLY destroy him. On the other hand I don’t think we should overthink it. I totally agree but I also think that the Jedi pushed away their strongest asset which was love and attachment and actually adopted the Sith’s which was detachment which in turn made the Jedi much weaker than they should have been which led to an obvious unbalance in the force and also the Jedi’s lack of love and attachment made them think that the main thing that enabled them to be at their peak power (love and attachment) was of the dark side when in fact it was the exact opposite, it was never that the Sith was almighty and dominant etc. the Sith is actually doing and acting how their supposed to but it’s actually the Jedi who strayed away from who they truly are and whats funny is how all of those “Jedi” masters, grandmasters, knights etc. were pointing out who weren’t true Jedi’s when in actuality they weren’t either and even worse some of the people that they claimed werent Jedi’s were more Jedi than they could ever be, the Sith followed their force through and through for the most part, and the Jedi did the exact opposite and eventually it became a blind habit so of course when one side seemingly fully listens to their force for the most part (the Sith) and the other side doesn’t then unwisely judges those who do (the “Jedi”) then it makes perfect sense that one will be way more powerful than the other, it’s supposed to be a go with the flow type of thing when it comes to listening to the force and letting the force lead you and guide you no matter which side you choose thats how your supposed to use the force and the majority of the Sith never forgot that but the majority of the Jedi did, and once we understand this Palpatine calling Luke a Jedi makes so much sense because Plapatine although a Sith he still knows 🧠 what a true Jedi is, to end this off I believe that ALOT of Sith’s knew why the Jedi were weaker than them but to keep the upper hand in the force war they kept that secret to themselves which makes perfect sense and sounds like something the dark side of the force would lead a follower of the dark side to do just like how the light side of the force lead Luke and Luke listened instead of listening to men “Jedi’s” no matter if they were his masters or not Luke knew to follow the force of Light and not the tainted force of his deceived brethren the “Jedi’s” and in my eyes Luke was a true Jedi

I only saw a few episodes when it was airing so I never saw the whole show. Ahsoka was my favourite along with Anakin and Obi-Wan. So I decided to watch it all. I finished season 1, Ahsoka is still my favourite, I like that she has an character arc and I enjoy her sibling like relation with Anakin. Ahsoka is the girl boss I enjoy watching.
