Thanks for the interesting video. I may have missed something on the rating system, but how were cabin ambience and onboard amenities rated so low, even though the plane had the new mood lighting, updated IFE, and large overhead bins that mean almost everyone’s bags will fit? DL has a great onboard product too, but AA removed seatback screens from all planes and WN never had them to begin with. Just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Thanks again!

Hey! A lot of these ratings are just personalized… there’s not much scientific judgement to it! But I agree DL and UA have a great onboard product and AA is falling beind!

I am taking the Empire service but noticed there was no option to choose an assigned seat. Did you have an assigned seat?

As far as I am aware, only in business class.

Great video mate, I agree with all your comments regarding the 737 Max aircraft. I've never had any issues or cause to feel unsafe when I've flown on them and I agree that the media have caused so much unnecessary hype regarding this aircraft. Not saying that these safety issues don't need addressing, but to legally go on a witch hunt regarding every small issue is ridiculous, it's almost like the media are trying to destroy Boeing.

Surprised someone pushed your seat back up. A recline is a recline and if there's a problem, he should not have touched your seat. But you did the right thing and didn't start a fight.

I remember when you went there, I was in Dubai then. I mostly have to fly Airbus being European and I must say sometimes they make me feel a bit airsick (I don't know why). Nice vid Luke..I hope you do that vid on Paris one time that was so crummy for you...cheers

Nice job on this video. Note that this is NOT Polaris service, but transcontinental domestic service (though Polaris service looks almost identical to this). I like the bedding. I don't like the cheap meal all served on a single tray, and have never been a fan of the rather tight seating area. Not to harp on the negative, but the lounge seemed more crowded than the terminal.

The Maintenance Issues are great, but Media does report bogus things to get a story out. All Airlines should in fact maintenance should be conducted on all airlines to ensure pure safety is adhered to.
