Wow awesome footage. I drive this section of the M40 quite a lot and often thought it would be great to take a flight over this area for its natural beauty. Thankyou for sharing, now I don't need lol. Thanks again and safe flying:)

Did you get it back? is there a map or something where you can see where it is? also: does this happen often, what happend actually?

Xypod yes, I did get it back. It took a lot of effort and some very long ladders as it was about 12m up a tree. It seems the drone just completely failed to maintain control, I'm not sure why. I sent the video to Parrot and they said the drone needs replacing. Does it happen a lot? It seems recently that there are many doing a similar thing; that's going by the forums/facebook groups anyway. Edit: RE your question about the map; yes, there's a map of the last known GPS coordinates. It took a very long time to find it up the tree though! Involved shining a torch so we could see it on the camera feed that was still running.
