So my neighbor has this 1990 sr5 4 runner (4WD) for 3k it’s at 212k miles he says it runs perfectly fine and that the generous price is because of the mileage and cosmetic issues(which is in great condition) what do u guys think should I buy it and swap the motor soon? I feel like there’s other issues tho and he doesn’t want to tell me I need others opinion

Completely useless testing. Most of these, the REAR end - especially the truck beds - are dissipating most of the collision energy. It is highly unlikely that you are going to be hit in the front while trapped against a concrete wall. This really gives no measure of survivability of the passengers in a real front end collision.
