That basement is going to be great and it will be so much more convenient with not having to go outside to the storm shelter. I enjoyed the music and watching those guys catch the concrete with the wheelbarrows. I'm anxious to see the finished project. You have accomplished so much there. I'm very proud of you. ❤

This did NOT work for you as a long term solution?! I read through all the comments and found that you told another viewer that you ended up trenching in an Ethernet line... 3 years ago! Completely unethical to not let viewers, especially your subscribers know. Update or delete your video. "@carterhomestead336 3 years ago Yup. As time continued it ended up not being a long term solution. I got very frustrated and ended up just having an underground ethernet line put in which has been perfect since. Thanks for the info!"

Just amazing build. I plan to attach a breezeway from a mobile home to a 12 x20 shed. The guy said he can remove window and frame a door on the mobile home side. The shed will be lower in height than the house side. Is that technically difficult? I notice you have two roof heights on your breezeway..is that to entrance to add on house?? Thanks.
@carterhomestead33611 ай бұрын
Hey! Thanks for commenting 😊 yes we have two different roof heights! It was a complicated transition. If your shed is lower that will help. Part of our problem was we barely had room to get a roof over the breezeway area without it feeling too small, the addition slope was towards the main structure, and so the breezeway roof had to go another direction to divert water properly. Removing a window and framing a door is smart. Your roof structure will stay in tact because your window will be supporting your roof load. How is your build coming along?

Seriously, you live in a trailer in the woods? Office? What for? Filling out welfare applications? Downloading child porn? Obviously you know next to nothing about networking.

Looks good... what kind of wall do you have behind the heating stove to keep it from getting too hot...
@OtherWorldMusic_Official Жыл бұрын
The wood stove is an EPA wood stove with a heat shield built into the back. Placed diagonal to two adjacent, combustible walls, the minimum distance was 16” according to the manufacturer guidelines. We placed it about 24” to be even safer. The floor it sits on has hardy backer board with ceramic tile. We do plan to put the same stone up the walls as the kitchen backsplash has. And you can’t see it in the video, but we do have the first layer started about 6” up (in case a coal were to pop out and roll to hit the wall.) With our heat laser, the hottest it’s ever gotten has been a little over 100 degrees, so the shield is definitely doing its job.
