When I first watched this film, this twist with the kids is literally one of the most unexpected turns!!! Especially when the son made us believe what a little asshole he is 😹

It is not fascism it is pure leftism, what many today call woke. They want pure equality, nothing to offend, nothing to make you think, nothing to challenge a person. The ultimate communist/leftist ideal of the pure automaton who does exactly what the state dictates.

You need to get a head phone plug to two jacks. She looks uncomfortable having to lean in to share an earphone. It’ll be annoying having to do that for 90 minutes. Unhygienic too. Anyway, Equilibrium is one of my favourites.

Technically they still feel shallow surface level perfunctory emotions like mild amusement, light frustration, slight sadness. But nothing truly deep or overwhelming nothing that can't be easily ignored and dispelled and forgotten with a thought. The drugs only suppresses them to a bare minimum. Like feeling emotions through feet of cotton balls.

This is most certainly _not_ fascism. The capitalists exploit human nature, fascists try to wield it, and it's the communists that try to alter it.

The actor who played Itzhak Stern is Ben Kingsley. He also played Gandhi. The little girl in the red coat is in color because she is what Schindler is focusing on as she walks through the ghetto, alone, unchaperoned, while all around her people are being killed. Until we see her dead body on the cart later (also in color), we don't know that she didn't survive the ghetto liquidation - she wasn't alive up until the exhumation, she'd been killed earlier, and dug up for incineration. When he and Stern create the list, they're using the actual names of the people who have been working for him all this time. He went around to other industrialists who were lesser known for helping Jews, getting them food and clothing, etc., and tried to get them to do the same, buy the workers and take them to a safe place (initially, he was trying for Moravia, but he ended up going home to Czechoslovakia instead), but all the other industrialists said no, they'd done all they could.
@TheAlmaward2 жыл бұрын
At the start, Schindler just wanted to make money. But as time went on, he couldn't deny the horror, and started wanting to help. Hiring Jews cost less than hiring Poles, so he didn't want to hire Poles and waste money; Stern used that to get as many people as possible designated as essential workers. The "investors" couldn't use their money anymore, they were prohibited from buying things with it, but they could barter items, so the plan was they would put up the cash, which Schindler could use, and he would pay them back in product that they could use to barter for goods on the black market. The Jews had to have a blue card - a blauschein - to be able to leave the ghetto. The blauschein identified them as an essential worker. If you were not an essential worker, you were useless, and sent to a death camp. The people on the train went to Auschwitz. They emptied the ghetto and moved anyone who could work into the work camp run by Goth; anyone who couldn't work was either shot on sight, or sent to Auschwitz. Anyone who resisted was shot on sight, because they could work, but were obvious troublemakers, not worth the effort of keeping them.

The whole point Jack not kissing her is to legit spare her feelings. Like he said sooner or later he rubs everyone the wrong way. So by not kissing Gracey goodbye he's intentionally not giving her false hope that he'll come back to her. He's not making a promise he can't keep. Subtle Chad move. At least that's how I see it.

Actually that scene where he says that he had killed him in his heart comes from the book of Matthew. In Matthew chapter 5 Jesus teaches that hating someone without cause is the same as murdering them inside your own heart. Because all murder including blindfits of rage page start from a place of hate.

Fascism? NO, fascism is mainly nationalistic, and nationalism is a feeling so It would also be repelled in this movie society. The regime in this movie is actually more similar to socialism/communism.
@AspieMediaBobby3 жыл бұрын
Communism is a stateless,classless,moneyless society. Socialism is either the stage between the imaginary "Dictatorship of the proletariat" and full-on communism(In the Marxist versions)or a synonym for communism itself(Pretty much every other version save Social Democracy which is basically "Capitalism with a human face").Nationalism is basically a cover for xenophobia,corporatism,cult of personality around a charismatic(Usually white Anglo-Saxon Protestant cishet male) leader seen as the voice of God within The State and absolute State control in fascism.
@perrymanso68413 жыл бұрын
@@AspieMediaBobby You have no fucking clue at all. There's nothing more pro-state than Socialism, precisely Capitalism is mainly liberal which totally wants the state reduced at It's minimum or even destroyed. So, I don't know wtf are you talking about, well, reading your "cis-white-christian-male phobia", I can easily guess why. YOU the socialist ARE the system, NOT the revolution, remember my words.

I understood when I watched the movie. It's called a reaction for a reason to get my thoughts while I'm watching it. If you don't want my dialogue, then watch the movie yourself without my input, otherwise there is no point to watch a reaction.
@texasps913 жыл бұрын
@@thatreactionguy1058 I have the dvd, I've seen it. I enjoy watching people reactions, especially younger people, many have been told this never happened. That is what the cabal elites want, so they can bury their crimes against humanity. I watch at least 3 others who react and they react when the clips, or songs are over. Much nicer that way the artist is more respected and their prophets continue to go to them.
