Good Morning Beautiful! I was thrilled to hear you mention using citric acid mixed with dye powder for speckling... I have been speckling this way for years to get nice sharp immediate strikes in my speckling, however, something that many dyers forget to mention is with the addition of citric acid to your dye powder, the result of using this method gives you more control in placing your speckles to recieve sharper more defined speckling due to the more granular consistency of the citric acid... with the finess of dye powder alone, results can vary from individual speckles to blotches.
