The night parade version is 1,000,000 times better. Harder choreo, better dancers, and cooler background.

the remakes had a more detailed stage background, but i prefer the just dance 2 one more because it had each magician appear and disappear in a more enchanting manner, as watching each magician explode at the end of the show after having appeared in an explosion at the start of the show felt more powerful and a lot more magically appealing in comparison to each magician just simply appearing in a puff of smoke at the start of the show and disappearing in a puff of smoke at the end of the show in the remakes not to mention that the remakes didnt update the sfx of the magicians appearing and disappearing despite the timings of each magician's teleportation acts being altered from just dance 2 while the evaporation of the puffs of smoke generated from each magician's appearing and disappearing tricks were sped up considerably midway through the evaporation process unlike in just dance 2, thus making the magicians' appearing and disappearing acts feel less legitimate and more edited in the remakes

I get why they don't do the the battles still as that would be a logistical nightmare making so many mashups. Getting permission to do so, coming up with dance routines for both participants in the event one wins or loses that also fit with whatever character is on screen. Getting the outfits back or remade just for it. Lots of fun even if its probably to competitive head on in comparison to just the multi character dances.
