They are full sun year round outdoor perennials. That’s not to say they couldn’t survive on your windowsill, however if you want to keep them living long term or want them to thrive and not just survive, then you want to grow them outside in full sun.

@@kirriesummers5219 "F-bomb?" Do you mean the word fuck? I mean, last time I checked this wasn't KZbin Kids. In this case, I believe "fucking" is used as an adjective, and is meant to signify to the viewer that the uploader is exasperated with the number of people who don't properly care for this plant. It's like getting a pet dog and then saying "don't keep this dog in your fucking closet". Or "This is a baby, don't leave this in your fucking car". People are individuals, no need to choose to feel offended when no one was actually hurt or cussed out.

Custodial interference is a form of parental kidnapping under RCW 9A.40.060 and is defined as such under Washington State legislation, and is considered criminal as its a felony, which is why the courts told me to go to the Pd multiple times. I turned off the comments to that video because I was tired of trolls like yourself assuming things rather than reading the video description.

Hello 8 I have a question sundews 1.)How often do sundews need to eat? 2.)Can you feed a sundew with an earthworm? 3.)Can you feed sundews fish flakes? 4.)What can you do with sundew flowers? 5.)What can I feed my Drosera apart from worms 6.)Can sundews eat crickets? 7.) Are sundews self pollinating? 8.) Can you put sundews in a Mini greenhouse -> What should you pay attention to when purchasing? 🤔 a)Mini greenhouse with a heated bottom 37x23xh21cm - for germinating and rooting plants b.) Self-watering greenhouse / propagator 37.5x13.5xh16cm c.) Mini greenhouse with heated bottom + Self-watering 37.5x13.5xh16cm

1: they dont need to eat. They’re plants. They get energy from the sun. 2: yes 3: yes 4: cut them to allow your plant to grow faster, or let them bloom and self pollinate for the seeds so you can make more. 5: fruit flies 6: some species of sundews can. It depends on the type of sundew. All of the ones in my garden can not. 7: yes 8: you can but they aren’t required unless you’re using it to simulate their natural environment.

hi , Ahoj I'm new to the carnivorous plant scene help. I recently bought sundew seeds on Amazon. Drosera seeds 100 seeds (Mix) 1.) Do filter jugs make sense? 2.) Is sundew from a filter jug healthy? 3.)What should you pay attention to when buying a filter jug? 4) Which is better Dafi or BRITA? 5) I was told that boiled and then cooled water is good for sundews. Can anyone confirm this? 6) Should we hand feed them at some point? as the domes are closed at the seedling stage to maintain humidity, preventing insects from entering. 7._Should we open the dome every few days to get some fresh air? 8.)I would like to, I thought. catching rainwater. ? 9.) I wish, I thought. catching snow water? sorry if my english is not good 🙁
@DLCoates18 ай бұрын
1: yes you can use water filters. 2: if you use the right filter yes they’ll be fine. 3: the amount of minerals the filter can remove. 4: Neither. Use Zerowater. 5: Only if you have a distilling kit. 6: you can yes. For sundews use fruit flies. Just remember they’re plants and bugs are fertilizer, so don’t “feed” too many. 7: Keep it by a super sunny window. The air in your house will be fine. 8: rainwater is perfect for it. 9: snow works too once melted.

Tracyi is pretty confidently considered its own species separate from filliformis in the scientific community, it's mainly the plant keeping community that pushes back and continues labelling them as var. Stacyi. As far as the coldy hardiness, they are naturally cold hardy. I'm right in their native range on the Gulf coast and visit them often in the wild, and we do get sub freezing temps every year just not for extended times
@DLCoates1 Жыл бұрын
We usually get below freezing temps here, at times around 8 degrees. Usually its the coldest from mid December to end of February. So we usually stay cold for a bit.

I think this is probably a D. tracyi and it's probably relatively normal for it to live through a freeze as you describe. The Florida panhandle where these live does receive freezes into the teens sometimes.
