Cowboy builders, you get them everywhere even in developed countries. The trick is to always go for a construction business that's well known and has a good reputation, you might pay a bit more but at least you're guaranteed quality work.

Trust me that is not likely in Zambia. Lots of experience with hiring companies. Lots of unprofessional behavior and theft. Dishonest practices at a higher level. Not worth it at all..

That land was free.. Due to it being under power lines, it’s essentially owned by the city and not us 😅

Sis u r in Zambia and we use blocks or blicks not wood like in cold countries wood for walls due to termites.

That’s a misconception , you really think those countries don’t have termites? It’s mostly a preference and what is readily available, you can build a wooden house in Zambia if you want to , you will face the same issues as those in the US etc , it’s nothing special
