Hey man, just saw ur video. I don't think the Creators of the game are at fault for this, *entirely*. As far as CS:GO went, Valve's excuse to combating cheaters was to tell the public to spend $15 on Prime Matchmaking or buy it on steam, which would essentially mitigate ur experience with cheaters. It worked for a bit, but still, you'd come across a closet cheater who just wants to either tie their game or win in a 16-14 score line. As far as CS2 goes, Valve seems to be putting too few eggs into too many baskets. It's been known now that Valve has something big coming for CS2 eventually, and with the game out of public beta there are still glitches, exploits, and blatant rage cheaters, I can only imagine they're scrambling to figure out the best solutions to everything. It might take a while from Valve, but I can only begin to imagine that 1-2 years from now, we're gonna have the same massive cheating problem we're having in CS2. Valve will put their foot down eventually. What they will do, is completely up to them. Though the only thing I could see Valve doing is just training their AI Cheating Software, VACENET better, because god knows Valve will never make players download an intrusive anti-cheat. As far as attempting to mitigate playing against cheaters in CS2, there's not much you can do. But first off, I would never play Office. With or without Prime Matchmaking. Office in 2023 is what Dust2 was in 2016 for cheaters. Office has essentially become the hub of rage cheaters. You can always try playing FACEIT. Though it requires a few extra hoops to jump through like verifying your steam account through FACEIT and downloading their anti-cheat. FACEIT seems to have a better track record for knowing when somebody is cheating compared to Valve. The same thing happened for CS:GO when it came out. It was unpolished, and quite ultimately, worse off for the community than the predecessor game. Players had already had time to learn as well as give Valve employees time to tweak the code of the game ultimately making it as perfect as it could be. But, I can only imagine that CS2 over the next few years will thrive. And though, we keep giving Valve extra time, they've disappointed us in the past. We just gotta keep our heads high. People were so hyped months ago when VACNET instantly banned a cheater live after being reported moments earlier. But the fact that all Valve has been able to show us so far from VACNET is false DPI bans, and non-banned cheaters is actually fucking crazy. I would rather an intrusive anti-cheat from Valve than literally zero anti-cheat at all at this point. Best thing I would say brother, whenever you play CS2 from here on out, go in with the mindset that nobody is cheating. Go into console and type "cl_mute_enemy_team true". Because the moment people start talking, people lose their morality to continue to play in that game. Your teammates will argue "He's cheating! I'm so done with this" or "The games over already, he's cheating." The best thing you can do if you want to catch a cheater is bait them out. Play to your best ability, fake-peek corners and force cheaters to prefire you before they even see you. Convince your teammates nobody is cheating and the cheater will be forced to cheat harder to combat you and your buddies playing your hardest. Play to your best ability, and the demos will prove it. If Valve does care enough to check demos with either VACNET, or their own internal Overwatch system, they'll see what they need to see. Valve is not going to do much when it comes to checking the internals of a players computer with an anti-cheat. People have found ways to get around being "Not VAC Secured" when loading up CS2. If a player is rage hacking, or is just blatantly cheating in the eyes of everybody in the lobby. Have yourself, and your 4 teammates report the player in-game, as well as reporting their Steam profile. Valve seems to care more about steam profile reports for cheating in-game compared to an actual report, in-game. So just do both, and if they get banned, great! If not. You move on. You can't beat cheaters without cheating yourself. And nobody wants to play a game where they have to question whether or not they can load it up and play it without facing against a cheater. Mass Report their steam profile, as well as in-game Try to get the cheater to expose themself in-game for the audience of Valve Employees who might just be watching the gameplay. Try switching to FACEIT with the Anti-Cheat/Client *you can always just use the web browser for FACEIT instead of the Client* And if all else fails, take a break. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do to combat cheaters in a game like this. These cheat devs make bank selling their cheats, but unfortunately Valve doesn't just have the ability to go to the website the cheats are hosted on and instantly shut it down. So instead, they have to try to reverse engineer an anti-cheat based on whatever information the cheaters can give them. Good luck to you an your buddies with everything. Hope this ramble helps somehow. And if you're looking for people to play CS2 with, There are definitely LFG (Looking for game) Discord/Teamspeak servers for Counter-Strike. Though it's not going to help combat against the cheaters on the enemy team. It is always nice knowing that you, and the people you que with, have high trust factors and will therefor be less likely to get blatant rage cheaters in your game. Most people are just complaining in comments sections (myself included). But actually making videos, and addressing the problem is significantly more important than commenting on a KZbin video or a Twitter post, complaining that the game is broken without giving any information, or resources as to how people can fix it themselves while Valve fixes it in the background. best way to tell if anything has that type of tier 4 armor is by checking for the exposed green straps beside the shoulders, if ye got any 9mm other than PBP or AP jus go for legs/head
