I agree fully to many of the things you say! I think one of the hardest things for a smaller channel is to understand the viewers (specifically your target group) and what they want before you have much data to look into. But at that stage it's also fun to try different things and see what works best 😎

This is the first time I have heard someone advise us to NOT tag our videos, interesting. I'll try it and compare the results. I'm looking forward to reaching my first 100 subscribers, so I'm researching all the advice for small channels. Thank you for sharing your insights!
@dannywhyfinance5 күн бұрын
It's worth testing out. I looked over your channel and noticed that your most popular video has the following: 1. It's 6 minutes long. 2. Has a very raw & natural thumbnail. 3. Has a "productivity niche title". I'd suggest to continue to make videos like this: 8 minute long raw videos of you talking about anything that is part of "productivity, mental health, self-care etc." If you're looking for ideas do the following: Search "Productivity" on KZbin and then go to filters and select the "UPLOAD DATE to 1 Month ago". Then find videos from channels who have under 20,000 subscribers and reproduce that content.

Try to make a video about something that is trending now such as "the MrBeast drama" or anything that is actual.

Awesome video. No matter what niche you pick as your favorite, you need to give your viewers fun and engaging content. And there is a shortcut to make your content viral and popular as fast possible (If you use a bit of Famester for example).

I needed to hear it when you said don't delete videos that initially perform poorly. You never know if that video will catch on later down the road. If you create videos that have value to someone, it will find them in time.
@dannywhyfinance5 күн бұрын
Here's what happened to me. I edited 4+ days on a video thinking it's going to be my best video. I posted it and it was one of the lowest performing videos. A few days later it randomly started getting 100+ views per hour for a few hours then stopped. Then a few days later it started again. Another thing I noticed is that every time you upload a new video, if the new uploaded video does well, some of your older videos will also start to get some views and sometimes they can get huge pumps in views. Don't look at your channel as if people care so much about it anymore. People go on KZbin to watch videos. They don't go on your channel to watch videos. Therefore think of KZbin as your channel and focus on getting your videos on this "KZbin channel's" home page.

Thanks for taking time to write a comment. I've checked out your channel and I have some tips for you to try out and see if you see any results: 1: Make your titles easier to read. 2: Instead of having them so long make them shorter. Don't "always" write in the title the events which will happen in the video because then the viewer already knows what to expect from the video. Here's an example: Instead of writing "Riding my ATV in the X forest", write something like: "My ATV almost lost all gas 100km away from home.." Of course in this scenario your ATV must lose gas but I'm sure that happens a lot :P. Another example to push the videos to grow even more (this is valid only if you want to dedicate more interest in growing the channel) would be to once a month have a special kind of video. Here's an example: I went with the ATV in THIS HAUNTED FOREST". I'd suggest keeping 60% of your channel the way it is (as a hobby and passion) and if you want to grow and make some extra cash from it then implement the tips to the rest of the 40% of the channel. Good luck!

Exactly! You receive money from your costumer ($10) by shopping from your online store, then you pay the supplier($5) to send the product to your costumer, profiting $5. 😊

Thanks! I've mentioned in the video that if I show the channel name it will break the algorithm of the channel because people (including you) will go just to check it out for 1 - 2 minutes and that is not going to be good for the algorithm.

You should develop a real skill set in 2025.
@dannywhyfinance11 күн бұрын
Learning to set the camera settings, learning how to light your face and the background, learning how to edit photos for thumbnails, learning how to edit videos and also learning to speak in front of the camera and even build a script. These are skill sets people who pursue KZbin are going to inevitably learn.

you dont get money for affiliate marketing when people just click.. they needd to buy the product right? :P
@dannywhyfinance12 күн бұрын
ofc. clicks can actually be dangerous for your video because it brings people off the KZbin platform and the algorithm doesn't like that. gotta make sure when you promote affiliate links they 100% make sense with the video otherwise it's not worth it
