I like everything I hear from these guys, so dang satisfying. Only weird thing: I want them all to be 50. They wouldn't be this cool if they were as old as me, but then they'd be genuine, you know, Cold War kids. It's okay, just a dumb picture in my head. Hiding under desks and pondering nukes.... funny cuz I'm totally over those things, bigger concerns now.

Weird place to comment, but where else would I put this lol. Heard this song over and over again dating my mom’s best friend, 5 years older than me, still married but separated. Drove her an hour and a half north to help her get the divorce finalized. She went bankrupt, developed a severe drinking problem, tried to stab me once. Emotionally and physically abusive. Meanwhile for those 3 years, I took care of her daughter without hesitation, while working and going to college. Cleaned her house and cooked, because I knew she was really going through it. Finally I realized I needed to move on after one too many drunken fights. Her daughter is 12 now, and just went to a mental hospital. First person she called? Me. I love her and always will. Both of them, really. Wish me luck.
