I'm going to voice out an unpopular opinion, this series is WAY better than 1972 version! But, one must wonder if Ludwig II was in denial concerning his brother's mental condition at 29:53?

That life is a curse. Poor Sisi. That mother is lonely old bat who’s bored & believe she can tell or demand on Sisi, she’s jealous of her because she’s bold independent & outspoken also opinionated. Wow this was so amazing. I am a 50 plus year old American guy n dont speak Bavarian or German so i read the subtitles and am blown away by this story. I always knew i had some German in me but after a recent DNA test i just found out i am Bavarian too n this got my curiosity up to look into this as i knew next to nothing about Beautiful Bavaria. Thank You.

:-))))) I was born and raised in Munich and my family lives all over Germany therefore i wonder WHAT kind of DNA test proves you are Bavarian :-))) and even more weird "since you know" Ludwig II is what you had to look into after finding out ? :-)))) This is to funny . Whatever you are drinking you should stop lol . On the other hand maybe a DNA Test can find out if i have ancestors from the grand concourse NY :-))

@@olavwilhelm6843 Wow so sarcastic you are. My Grandfather's parents came here to the US and our family history goes far back all over Germany. My grandpa never talked to us much about his parents lives there so we knew very little A DNA test is science and traces where your family came from so it was exciting for me to finally know. Ludwig 2 is simply a famous King of Bavaria to whom I knew nothing about so I learned about him n Bavaria. Glad I'm not ignorant. I don't drink or do drugs so you were way off base lol. Hopefully you are now a bit more enlightened?

This looks like a super cute series! We've been thinking about learning German (teacher, here, of German descent on my mother's side and we are wondering if we can get German citizenship to move abroad). This soap will help us learn to speak German much better. Thank you for uploading!

There should be a Disney movie about Ludwig, The Swan King. The first imagineer. After all, it was Neuschwanstein that inspired the Disney Castle
