Hi. I just received my Devol disc guard. I’m no mechanic! Can you share a bit more about the installation? You mentioned something about the spacers on the inside and outside. Which goes where? Anything else I should know. Thank you. David

I have both F4 clutch and brake levers on my '85 ATC 200X. In my opinion they are a work of art. I've been using them for a year and a half now with no complaints whatsoever. I have a new All Balls clutch cable installed but that clutch lever has the lightest pull I've ever seen, literally 1 finger. They are a bit pricey though especially if you get the pro model clutch. Recommend them to anyone.

From all the research I have made in about a month on getting my first gear set I agree 100% with what you said about these boots they offer a good price point, good protection and quality.

It’s a bummer now because I ordered a full exhaust for my 23 klx300ds and only options are turn down or billet. You don’t get all the end caps and turndown tip and no baffle included. Had to purchase the baffle separately. Still a nice exhaust it just doesn’t come with all the options anymore.

"Dampening" is getting something slightly wet, "Damping" is controlling movement via mechanisms such as this. Just FYI.

The fact that you never show the shape of the foot of these boots and the shape you feet means you understand nothing in boots. Remember: boots or shoes that are comfortable for one person may be uncomfortable for another. From my experience, most motorcycle boots are made for extremely narrow feet, and most of them have weird shapes. The only more or less anatomically correct boots are Forma Terra Evo Dry. I would want to buy these in green color, but after trying Gaerne Fastbacks I suspect that these are also made for people with very narrow feet

The latest and greatest they do is the *TMT6* with all the bells and whistles. No question that they are the best designed, best tyre tool ever made on the market. Thinking of getting one? At *€1,170* incl. shipping & import duty, you might wanna think again....

Brian mentioned to weight the inside. When going straight there isn't an inside or outside. It should be stated down hill or uphill side. So which is it? Up hill or down hill side is weighted? In turns I also thought it was the outside and thus on hills it would be the down hill side. Now I'm a bit confused. Thx

One huge point that is good to know is how the engagement feels vs stock. If you pull with your middle finger on the clutch does it clear your fingers or does it need to be pulled fully to the bar to disengage completely?

Im pretty sure that im using theclutch on down shift road race habit..also dirt since the beginning...but star yamaha was working with haiden deagen an get him to practice doing clutch free motos....is that new theory...i know full throttle upshifts are no problem since my 1986 CR 250R two smoke....i just time my shifts an later just having a fresh clutch installed it shifts pinned wide open...back in the70s older guyswith not as good a trans as we have now used to hit the kill button as they shifted wide open....thats kinda like using ignition but japanese bikes dont need the clutch on upshifts just to keep the front wheel down...2 strokes i had holeshots down to leaning my head forward or my helmut back to maintain the front wheel at 4 inches off the ground i found the right place to sit an used only my head to break the back tireloose if the front came up....four strokes have 2 much traction i see them clamping the front down too far the rear suspension not loading at all its just a pretty rooster tail...

Wish I had watched this 8 years ago haha. Just now realising my shifter was set up way too low since I bought my husky new, thought I must just be a sook and the factory surely knows better. Better late than never

I bought the sg12s and they fell apart so fast on me. The plastic all cracked and the 3rd buckle down tore right off. I dont race i trail ride. I did love the boots but at the price point they should of lasted me years. Gonna scoop these they look great.

W A R N I N G : I had one of these "unbreakable" levers break in a minor fall. Had to pay $15 to ship it to FLO to be assessed. FLO assessed the lever as broken in a crash and refused to provide a replacement and only offered a 50% discount from their inflated web site prices plus I had to pay shipping again (rather than free shipping somewhere else that was selling the lever at a discount) . Here is the response from FLO when I pointed out that the lever is marketed as "Unbreakable" as stated in this video. "The lever has an unbreakable design. The lever has a pivot to help reduce the chances of breaking in a crash or fall but everything has a breaking point. " Not sure what "unbreakable design" means if it breaks on a minor crash. From now on, I'm going to go with other companies that have provided better after sales support like BPD.

The dirt bike Channel says not to use the clutch. It's a constant mesh transmission. Shifting without the clutch will not hurt it at all. Downshifting without the clutch might be a little hard on them. I only use the clutch to start off and to downshift. I almost always rev-match when I downshift.

I’m a new rider, just got mx style boots for my drz400 and have a really tough time shifting up into 3rd. If I dig my boot in deep enough to make sure I hit third every time, my boot gets wedged in between the peg and shifter. Any tips? Thanks

You can move your shift lever up by rotating it one notch on the shaft. Just make sure it doesn't run into the chain at the front sprocket when you do upshift. It won't be long and you'll want to move it back down. And practice practice practice.

I do the Opposite! No Clutch Throttle Blip Upshift, Clutch Down Shift With Rev Matching Blip, It Seemed to Work, I Raced 2 Strokes Mainly! If you Downshift on a Road bike without Clutch it can Cause Compression Lockup & Skid the Rear! Or in the Wet you'll Probably Crash! I'll Stick to what works for me! But he's the Expert, Don't listen to me! 👍🍺
