This reminds me of the 1-2 episodes in between story lines--when everything is close to perfect. But soon, its another 50+ episodes of complete distrust of anyone.

He was the most focused actor in the entire series. Beautiful brown eyes, strong chin, those sideburns, handsome and great presence on camera. How he didn't surpass the others in teen idoldom or gone further in his career always puzzled me. There's really not a lot told about what happened to him. All I've read is that he was an avid reader, kept to himself, and that he got mixed up in the underground of something, drugs and depression. Gained weight, dropped out and went home to die. The world was too much with him. A tragic artist. Thank you for this tribute.

I Love Dark Shadows BUT the writers tended to tread & retread certain characters & storylines. Most were highly Successful...but I disliked that Nancy Barrett's characters usually were Barnabas's victims.
