I am not postpartum just stressy and losing hair. I've not long started using Nioxin system 4 and I really think it's helping. Definitely less hair in the brush and shower. Just in case you are looking for anything 😊Xx

Total nightmare. First nose piercing at claires. The first time it only stayed in my nose for a day and fell out at night when I was sleeping. I couldn't get it back in. It was so painful. Went back to claires. Claire's pierced it a second time and it fell out again. There are no backings to keep it in. Go to a tattoo shop. Claires is good at piercing ears only.

Just an fyi for people saying you shouldn’t use guns: You shouldn’t use *spring loaded* guns but the ‘guns’ at Claire’s are not spring loaded guns they’re a *hand pressure* device so the piercer can control the pressure themselves and not damage the tissue so it’s safer

Claire's is absolutely fine. Got my four lobes on each side done there plus cartilage on each side. All healed well. Will go there soon for nose piercing. How was it for you? Pain?

Yeah I’ve never had a problem with them, I found it less painful than my second lobe one which surprised me, hope yours goes well

You should never use a gun to do the nose. Even if it works well. You will have damaged your cartilage and guns are ridiculous old fashioned and dangerous sometimes they can jam and get stuck. Claire's shouldn't be offering this as a service

the reason you should get cartilage piercings done with a needle is to remove the cartilage. a gun just moves the cartilage. you will absolutely have a lump after healing. also, those studs are not meant for piercing. they are meant for use on fully healed piercings. piercing studs have a flat back and a top, be it threadless or threaded.

Piercing studs have a sharp point on them, like a needle. I got all my cartilage piercings at Claire’s and kept the studs, they are super sharp. Stop spreading false information please.

I'm very intrigued by the jewelry they put in. Was there any instruction about how you would have taken it out had you allowed it to heal? I appreciate that the gun seems less intimidating and thanks for sharing your experience! I used to think the gun was never ever justified, but glad to see yours is going well and healing!

I hope you go to an actual piercing shop to get yours done. Guns can shatter your cartilage and cause more trauma at the moment of piercing. Claire's also doesn't have proper piercing jewelry. I work at a piercing shop and we've had to CUT with pliers (yes, you read that right) at least 10 Claire's nose jewelry pieces because they don't screw off and the pyramid at the bottom is too big to come out from the existing piercing

It will hurt less with a needle. I've had multiple piercings done with both a gun and needle and every one with a needle, even ones I'd already had done previously with gun before , hurt significantly less and healed quiker. I still remember the Claire's worker forcing a ring the rest of the way through my ear with her hands cause the gun didn't go all the way through. It was more painful than getting my lip pierced having her do that to my ear . Be careful

Not a silly question at all! The stud didn’t have a back, it’s got a thicker end so that it stays in but there’s no stud 😊

I pulled it out whilst it was still healing so that it didn’t get stuck in there forever 😂 I would say it was about two weeks when I did that xx
