This uncannily looks very much like my brindle French bulldog, Hank, who I just had to say goodbye to a couple of months ago. I was just googling random Frenchie-related things in my grief and this came up. I ordered a print of it on your pixels site. It brings me so much comfort. Spiritual art indeed...

One of the hardest things to experience is losing your little companion, we have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks that are getting pretty old now, they are like our children and I can't imagine the grief once they've finished their time in this life with us. I'm so pleased to hear that something this simple could bring you some joy in this difficult time for you. It been almost ten years since I did this drawing and it was nice to reminisce on it again. Thank you for getting a print <3

If you blend the pan into the tooth of the paper, you can layer over it, you don't need to keep adding fixative❤

I discovered this when I just tried for curiosity, and I got really surprised when I noted that using the polycromos like base color, and then using the Prismacolor over them brings really magical results. And I actually think not many people know about this, because this is the only video I have found proving this technique.
