They don’t make them like that anymore. The only ones like that is Derrick Henry

I loved the close up of him lining up on 4th & 1 against Miami in the the Superbowl. It's like he knew that was his last hoorah. He delivered.

This was when real men played football. It was a honor to live in d.c. ans grow up watching riggins run behind the hogs. 44 forever!

Great running back. 4th and 1. His signature run in Super Bowl XVII. Revenge match of SBVII. Undefeated Miami 1972. Not in 1982 against a team like the Joe Gibbs coached Redskins.

Lol , that Lonnie Smith was at times so clumsy in the outfield that Harry Kallus and Richie Ashburn use to call him ‘ wheels ‘. 😂😂😂

I was there with my Dad. Atmosphere at the vet was absolutely electric!!! You can only be first once!!! Our 80 team removed all the ghosts of our past 96 years. I was 12 at the time my dad was 52. To share the memories of the Houston series which in my opinion was the greatest nation league series in baseball. All we had to do is beat Nolan Ryan at the Astrodome to make it to the world series. Then to beat George Brett at his prime although with a case of hemorrhoids. We finally did it.! All of us who were lucky enough to be there at this unbelievable time in Phillies history will never forget how lucky we were to share this time with our families!

Wow, it’s funny to see how far off the plate Schmidt was.
@bigchickenfu Жыл бұрын
Yep. Schmidt backed off the plate in 1980 and 1981 so he wasn't susceptible to bing jammed inside like early in his career. Also, it made him less of a pull hitter. He could drive outside pitches for home runs now to the opposite field. Had his best 2 years at the plate those years as well. Good move
@bigchickenfu Жыл бұрын
Won 2 straight MVP awards in 1980 and 1981. Would have hit well over 50 home runs in 1981 in not for the baseball strike.

.40 s&w is the ideal cartridge caliber, but 180gr was always too heavy for the .40 s&w, great for 10mm auto though! between 135gr minimum and 165gr maximum parameters is best, with 155gr/150gr being the ideal bullet weight for the .40 s&w in my opinion!
