Very nice truck! I probably would have chosen a different power plant. I think a blown Godzilla engine would have been cool. I think I would have bagged it too. I bet that truck's a little rough riding.

No doubt about it, Carroll Shelby lived his dream! Super cool to see that Aston Martin setting between those GT40's. 1959 I believe was the year he won LeMans, I could be wrong though. Thank you so much for sharing this one, Clint ! It was a sad day when he passed, not too many of these old "gear heads" left😢.

Great video! 👍 It’s not free to show a car in this one. Definitely costs entry fee application and they have to accept you. $30-35 or something like that. Not always worth that every year with how crowded it’s been even cars crowded. Entry $ isn’t a charity or fundraising either, it’s just more money for the City and Downtown “association”.

My Dad always loved and owned British sport cars as I was growing up. I think that's why I have always loved the Shelby Cobra's. A British sport car with a huge American muscle V8 crammed in it. The best of both countries!

Reminds me of when I was working in a shop back in 1988, a guy brought in his '87 Grand National. Said it wouldn't get out of its own way. Only had 40,000 miles on it, so the 1st thing I checked was the air filter. It was the original, black as the car! Swapped it with a new one, test drove with a few wide open throttle accelerations, was running like new again.
