Nothing in this story is even remotely legal or true. This is common to these stories. There are a number of things that simply cannot or do not happen irl. The first thing is that property deeds NEVER list whether or not a property is private as that is a given. ALL residential property is private, by default. The property would need to have a special permit to be transformed into anything other than a private residence.

Mail delivered must be by the post office. If not it's mail fraud and any demand for money is racketeering! Report it to the postal inspectors service and file a complaint. Federal authorities don't play!

The main character continues to allow the same things to happen to him time and time again without calling the police or getting an attorney. How many times did he "grab a large flashlight" to chase after people coming onto his supposedly secure property. Another rusted metal box found in the barn/shed with old documents proving??? really nothing. But the problem is HE is the one who built the barn/shed as per his description of building it to code and not the "illegal" barn/shed Karen claimed it was. Why would Karen Benson or her father bury these documents that could destroy her world in the main character's barn/shed??? He wouldn't. LOL STUPID. Of course, by the end of the story, some previously unknown character steps up and explains it all like a low-budget Scooby Doo ending. If only you could speak and read English, you might be able to edit these stories so they aren't so unbelievable and stupid. Also, if someone came on my property in the middle of the night, the next morning I would be purchasing a shotgun if I didn't already have one.
