I have one but have only registered a few readings. Please provide any tips on using the peep site correctly.

Was just out at the range, and tried a couple different ways to get bad readings. ( I have had no issues but try the fallowing ) - 1 insure that your muzzle / muzzle brake isn’t close to the radar.( position the radar 10 inches toward the shooter from the muzzle ) I was able to loos readings when I fired close to the radar, the gasses expelled would shift the radar and change its arming point. - insure you have a perfect circle when selecting a target. ( I set my target up at 200 yards to make signing the radar in hard. ) insure you are a minume if 12”, maximum 24” behind the unit. And make sure you have a perfect circal in the prep sight.

Batteries? How are they changed?

@@CorneliusFahey that batteries are internal, charged through the data cable/USB-C cable. I have used it 5 times ( in 1-3 hours sessions and haven’t had to charge it. ) I also routinely carry are battery bank for my cell phone, I’ll test to see if that will charge it in a pinch, if the batteries die.

@ ask away if you have any questions. My biggest take away was not setting the peep sight target up correctly the first time. Know it hasn’t been an issue. Honestly the unit also tells you the reliability of being able to pick up the shot. So if you’re off target, it acts like a signal bar. Or if you shooting a smaller Diameter Bullet, you can tell if the unite is having a hard time picking up the bullet.

I worked construction, the first thing I noticed was your thumb, ouch! I bought a velociradar from Scheels a month ago. It's in my range bag, Minnesota this time of year is hit or miss how cold you want to get, haven't been brave enough to try it yet.

I get that I lived in North Dakota for a while. I actually lost three fingers on the othere hand. All back on know, but not what they used to be.

Ty for the video. What arca Swiss attachment did you use? The m lok slots are further forward.

@SigSuaerCross i just bought one and does not have that integrated. They changed their design and now has a threaded screw hole. So trying to figure out how to best solve this mystery as the company has no way of contacting them

Nice demo. Looks slick. How's the stiffness/robustness vs the stock forend? Feel like it's as tough?

It does feel solid. My only concern is with the area were the bipod resides when it’s folded into the forend. If the bipod is deployed and you slam that area on something such as a fence I believe it could bend. This is the second time I’ve had this asked. I’ll look into doing a fallow up.
