The piano player is Hank Johnson. He has been playing since he was 3 yrs old. One of his albums is "The Hank Johnson Trio" its on KZbin. I have been following him since 2018. Literally.

You are absolutely correct, but it happened so fast most did not know if he needed or if one would be distracting the Master. He clearly showed the importance of always being prepared for the unexpected and improvise. Always teaching for sure and showing preparation.
