What a bad engineering german crap engine.Om 651 its even worse the previous version and even worse then w203! TIming chain and tensioners,injectors issues! Thats proofs that Mercedes-Benz is worse and worse with every model.Yes,i owned w203 and i do own w204..Its even worse then Bmw 47 engine which was one of the worse.If you want to replace timing chain and tensioners now you have to take the engine out.And,the chain is simplex not duplex as before.Thats mean its only 1 chain line.Mercedes is the biggest unreliable trash i ever owned Unquality and too expensive. Germans should learn from Japaneses how to make a quality vehicles!

Wow, all the stuttering, perspective shifting, and warping by video processing and tracking is really distracting and unnerving. Would have been great to have a version untouched. It looks like AI, but the video is 9 years old so not sure what techniques were tried, but many of them didn't work too well.

From my own experience, this is the most unreliable engine, it has two major problems: 1.Timming chain. 2. Rocker Arms The engine in my car w213 2017 only done 68000 mile. Mercedes coat me £3380 for 15 hours to replace timing chain and and the rocker arms. My advice is to keep away from the OM654 220d engine.

This isn't exactly the same as it would be on a normal daily driven car, but don't forget that the name of that car is Mercedes. Mercedes is built to last, and while the oil does play a big role, so does the way the car was engineerred.

After 250 000 ready for trash. I have changed 3 engines in my c klass 2011 two of them and one in Sprinter . Camshaft wich has to much movement left to right 0.4 millimeter when it comes from production is simply stupid from Mercedes factory. OM651 has lots of problems try to find 320 or even petrol 1.8 wich is much more reliable .
