It’s unlocked for completing 20 total missions across all runs so 20 days essentially.

Hopefully they add more crossover weapons with other franchises.

You can go back to the locations shown in the video where they spawn. They should still be there if you haven’t killed them yet.

I don’t believe so but, doing the challenges specifically the one for killing inferno crushers increases your fire resistance.

Did you check your lost and found section of your storage locker?

There isn’t a way in game to track it, but they only spawn once so you could check the individual locations and if there not there then it means you have already killed them.

For real like the first dead island their was 20 legendary weapons and the game was kinda scary the new dead island not so much I didn’t really like it I play the first still

Yeah he’s definitely one of the harder ones to avoid early on, in theory you can run past him to the airlock to progress the mission though, so you can come back to him later.

The maw is definitely one of the hardest revenants, that being said he shouldn’t be immune to fire and caustic damage, so I’d try leaving the area and coming back to see if that fixes it.

I just started a new game+ and I killed The Maw on my first try. I had to use up all of my ammunition and had to resort to using my curveball weapons to finish it off.

Yeah I found out after the vid was already published about the max ranking all 3 characters weapon, as no one had really played enough to post about them yet. As for the a ranking all 29 missions I don’t believe there is a special unlock, same for completing the hidden devs mission.

The movie references were great to see tbh, hope they lean into the subtle Easter eggs more in future updates/games.
