Hey i want to ask, do we still need the fs06 if we have complete IR model(amp,cab, mic sim) on the fs07?
@adnapАй бұрын
If you turn up the “DRIVE” to about 12 O' clock, on the American Sound, you’ll get more presence and clarity when you back off of the volume. (I noticed you kept yours at about 10/12 for most of the video, then you turned it down to 8/12) I personally think the Klon and The A/S blend very well together. if you do it right, it brings out more sparkle and thickens the tone. I have the Archer Gold and the A/S along with the Tech 21 Flyrig 5. Occasionally the UZI. If I can recommend ANY pedal, i’d say my favorite is the Carl Martin AMPSTER. It has built in tubes with all analog circuits to give you amp tone straight into the house, or PA. I think it’s a must have for those that don't have an amp sim.
@RudyBressersАй бұрын
@@adnap Thanks for the tip! However personally I don't really like the drive sound out of the A/S. That's why I use it more as a clean pedal platform. And add the drive by using pedals in front of it. Actually the same way I would use a real Fender amp.
@adnapАй бұрын
@ No, I get that. But at the middle position, if your pickup isn’t being pushed hot, you’ll get a clean sound out of it. I just got mine today and I was testing it with my Archer, and with or without it, I get more presence and clarity at the middle position. But when I backed off, it lost some of that, and became more muddy and muffled. Try it. Let me know what you think. Just make sure you’re not getting any gain crunch, and it should work. UNLESS you’re picking the strings with force, it should sound clean.
@RudyBressersАй бұрын
@adnap Nice! Definitely worth a try then. These days I mostly use the Simplifier as my pedalboard amp. But the A/S is still a great option for very little money.

@ I traded out my Joyo Vintage OD, for the AS, and so far I feel like it was a massive upgrade for my live tone. I play a lot of songs with clean, fat sparkle and Matchbox 20, and similar 90’s Rock and Grunge work great for that sound. I wasn’t quite getting it with the Klon, or combined with the Vintage OD, even through my Carl Martin Ampster pedal. I use a Tech 21 Fly Rig, but mostly for delay, the tuner and as a quick boost for more sustain during leads. As an OD, It sounds great but the Blonde, it darkens the clean sound a bit too much for my taste.

My fuzz face and Hyper Fuzz have totally different character into any of the Joyo character pedals. I dislike it to the point where I stopped using Joyos...it's not a bad sound per se (much woolier and darker), but I have those fuzz pedals for how they sound. If they now sound different, then that defeats the purpose!

I have one and it's a really decent pedal for the price point. The only thing I don't like, and this is just personal for me, is that when you turn the Regen control all the way up you don't get the endless, oscillating and cascading loops you get in other pedals, even cheap ones like the Donner Yellow Fall. I also have my doubts this is a truly analog pedal. But like I said at first it's a really good pedal and at this price I have no trouble recommending it to friends.
@RudyBressers2 ай бұрын
@@jimshunamon2512 i completely agree! For me it would be nice if the max delay time was a little longer, but you can't have it all. Especially not for this price. All in all it's a pretty good deal.

I recently purchased Vox MV50 AC and I got a Zoom G1Four. But Im not satisfied of the digital reverb on my Multi-effects pedal. Do you think, this Mosky Spring Reverb would be a good pair to the Vox MV50 AC? Coz it doesnt have reverb and also it doesnt have effects loop. This will be in front of the amp. What's your thoughts on this one? Thanks in advance! Great demo by the way!!!
@RudyBressers2 ай бұрын
Hi! If you like spring reverb only and don't want to spend too much money, this could be a good option. Of course if you want more options, then you might want to look at a pedal with more types of reverb. There's no problem putting the reverb in front of the amp, that will work just fine.
@vincentryanborres2 ай бұрын
@@RudyBressersthank you so much for the reply. Yeah I really like the sound on your demo. I’m 90% sure of buying this one. I only want a simple setup. Just the vox mv50 and this reverb. How do you use the American Sound box as an amp?
@RudyBressers5 ай бұрын
When recording you can go directly out to your audio interface (maybe add an IR loader after the Joyo and before the interface). Live you would go from the Joyo (and IR loader if you'd like) into a DI box and to the mixer.

Idk if this sounds better than the mod factory pro, but this demo sounds better than the mfpro videos. I own the pro and there's plenty of great sounds and hybrid sounds but I wish the combination possibilities were different. Five of the combos I wanted aren't a possibility because they're on the same side

After the actual tone of the reverb effect, and low noise characteristics, the next most important function (to me) is having pre-delay. It separates the hazy, wavy effect from the original note (the same as with natural reverberation). This helps keep the reverb from just being a tail of the original sound hanging off the note. And you can adjust how much of that separation to do or don't want. Most reverbs don't offer this feature. Nice that this one does.

I have a Hayden Dig Reverb, with 9 effects.. but this one sounds fantastic! I believe the foot switch is a soft one and not the one that makes a click sound. (BTW, the Hayden makes a loud 'thud" sound that can be heard even through the amp. Makes it unusable in a concert setting).
