This is my favorite box of yours this year! The shoes and the squishmallows are my favorite items. You gave me the idea way back when to pack extra shoelaces- thanks for that inspiration. I have always loved that idea. A cute pair of shoelaces can make a more ordinary pair of shoes really snazzy! These shoes you packed of course are already snazzy, though. I have a ginger bread box planned for next year and so I loved watching this for ideas for my box. Oh that spinning fidget ring is so cute and unique, and how fun!

STOP IT, I absolutely ADORE this shoebox! I want to play and eat it at the same time! Is that possible? lol Even the first few seconds of this video, my heart jumped when I saw the same thing the girl will see when she opens this shoebox. Just WOWOWWOW. One, the buffalo Christmas check shoebox is perfect. And so thoughtful of you to add fabric to match the bow tie. My favorite is the tin gingerbread box full of goodies. The fidget spin ring is super fun. I love that you included the velvet bag with it. One thing that is inspiring of your shoeboxes, is the importance of sensory items. The gingerbread stickers are so fun. I like that you the doll has a Christmas outfit on to match her gingerbread friends. Lol, our shoeboxes benefits on clothing items that don't fit us or our children, and buying prematurely thinking we can still fit a smaller size aka me! lol Second comment...

Beautiful shoebox, Diana! I love that you thoughtfully reinforced the shoebox with pink duct tape. Love the inside Malibu vibe decor! We think too much alike, my next Barbie shoeboxes have a small stuffy as well along with the Barbie doll. Oh, thanks for the shout out, Diana! I love tea sets, such a great item for any age. But especially the Barbie tea sets are great quality. My favorite is the tiara, absolutely beautiful. I can totally see this girl immediately wear it when she opens the shoebox. Omg duct taping the sides of the box is such a good idea! We’ve got the same size boxes as you in the Uk , and ours are also somewhat flimsy . I don’t know why I’ve never thought to do this. “If Barbie princesses wore flip-flops this is what she would wear” 😆🤣😂 I’m certain of it! They are the cutest with the side bows. I have been scared more than once by those flying discs, L O L, but I think that’s what makes them even more fun for the kids. I like your thoughts about the 5-9 age group. As hard as I try not to pack them, I always wind up with several for the same reason you mentioned and others. I also had a 2-4 box go to an 8-yo boy. Great packing job! I can’t believe you fit a Barbie doll, a full sized notebook, flip-flops and a tiara in that little, Canadian sized shoebox along with everything else. Hi Diana, This is a gorgeous box for Miss 5.-9. I love the bows on the flip and flops - just perfect for a Rainbow Princess.🎀🌈 Recently, I donated my princess box supplies to the Processing Centre. This include a princess themed water bottle with matching snack container and a tiara (like yours). It was perfect for Miss 5-9 who was to receive a dress with a large tule skirt (think 1950s). As for frisbees, I have only just made my first purchase. My struggle was to get the "demo" back into its pouch! I see in the comments it is a Yes/No for Frisbees. I guess this is a personal choice and what you feel called to pack in a shoebox, and if you pack a ball or jump rope too. Personally, I believe Miss Princess 5-9 should have a frisbee ... like you said to share with friends.🌞

really like the wolf theme for an older boy. the stuffed animal is really cute. I recognize some of the journal things from last year's winter journal. The notebook matches the theme so well. Oh, this is amazing!! Of course we think alike and had a similar or rather same theme! I think it's so cool you have a 10-14 boy, and I have a 10-14 girl. Ok, now to the shoebox. I love when the child opens the shoebox and sees all the wolves. Just wow. The wolf picture inside lid cover is absolutely beautiful. My favorite is the lenticular notebook with the wolves on the cover. I know the child will love to write in that notebook. I love you give that ring. Fun spin top! I like the theme colors for this shoebox - gray, silver, blues, and black. Perfect colors for a boy. You seriously make the best journal kits!! The sample page is beautiful. Great variety of items in the journal kit especially the skater stickers. So thoughtful of you to add the hook for the soap saver. Seems fitting you got soap from Great "Wolf" Lodge for this shoebox! Hi Diana. I have those same shoeboxes. My husband has been bringing them home from his church for years. I don't know why they have that size/kind, but I just fill them up and send them off with him on collection week. It is quite a challenge to work with the smaller flimsy boxes but the tape seems to do the trick. Love your dino box! The plushy is cute and so is the coloring book. The ring is really cool too!!

I emailed Samaritans Purse a while back and asked about the difference in box size between Canada and the US. They said we have different suppliers than the US, and for some reason, this is just the size they make for us. They said they'd pass along my comment about wanting our Canadian boxes to be the same as the US size. I hope they update it soon so our boxes can be a bit bigger!
