Oh man - i used to watch this show with my father in the U.K - we both loved it. My dad was a real outdoors man - loved to fish out at sea, knew what plants in the woods you could use as medicine, what you could drink as tea etc - bushcraft stuff. He came to the u.k as an immigrant in the 60's and lived in the city and worked in a factory, but i know he missed so much being able to go out and wander in nature. He LOVED this show as it reminded him of home. ❤️

Hearing this song for the first time in probably over three decades was honestly like receiving a huge kick to the gut. Reminds me of such happy, happy times--now, all a distant memory…

🙏 I am hoping here that decades Network will playing another hill Street blues marathon again on father's day like they did before. For sure that was a surprise but it was still worth watching after all those years. By watching this Marathon it took me back to the 80s again, which by the way was a fun decade. Back then they had no streaming, no downloading or no reboots.

I saw Larry Carlton play in Auckland NZ around 2012. He is a great guitarist. His album Last Nite is from the same era and his soaring blues sustains are superb. Hill St Blues was inique. Excellent actors, scripts, filming, authentic sets and a perfect theme music intro. 👍😎🇳🇿✨🎸

I remember when this show was first broadcast in the UK, in 1980: it was a hell of a shock to see the REAL America! We Brits had only seen the glamorous LA based shows of that era, you now, where the good guys always win and the bad guys go to jail...! This has to be the best Police Show America ever produced.
@DavidLLambertmobileАй бұрын
It's 1 of the best. Some say Law & Order, Miami Vice, The Wire, Homicide-Life on the Street are highly rated. CBS had CSI & NCIS which are both still going after 15+ seasons. Both shows had multiple spin offs.
