I have kids who are all adopted and i deliberately picked up older kids, not because they are easier to adopt since usually parents prefer infants, but because i could tell which kids were going to be beautiful. Beauty makes everything a LOT easier in life. I can teach my kids to be smart and more importantly kind, and send them to the best schools, but unattractive kids in this day and age will suffer from judgement and this damage will follow them for the rest of their lives. Beauty helps immensely and if you add intelligence to it, then you are the most powerful weapon there is. Between being incredibly smart, being very rich and being 1 in a billion beautiful i will always pick beauty. Why, because beauty will always allow you to make money and money will allow you to educate yourself and be smart.

@@rtybn456 MY kids are extremely happy, they are living in a lovely house in a beautiful area in a safe and wealthy country, have access to the best education, food and lifestyle a kid could dream of, and because they are extremely beautiful they also never face bullying or criticism based on appearance and people seek their company. And as a parent i am teaching them to be kind, not to be vain and to appreciate their luck without flaunting it into other people's face, and also to be kind to less fortunate kids, and look for the company of kind kids. They are beloved at their school by the other kids, their teachers, the other kids' parents. There is really nothing to feel sorry about. They are destined to have a nice, easy and purposeful life and make a difference in the world. Beauty is just the cherry on top of the cake. But a cherry which is already making their life far easier. So why would you feel sorry for them ? Can you claim such a childhood or a better one ?
@JaneAlison008
@JaneAlison008 Жыл бұрын
Must admit I have never heard such a shallow point of view. Shocked that someone can actually think like that, and follow this sick minset when adopting kids. Truelly disgusting. Just to prove how wrong you are google all those extremely beautiful and wealthy people who committed suicide or got addicted to alcohol/drugs. Look at Whitney Houston - smart, beautiful, talented, rich and DEAD by miserable death followed by miserable and sad life. There are so many such examples of people who are beautiful, inteligent, rich and extemely unhappy. You know why? Because looks & money are artificial and can never bring you happiness. Add intelligence to it and it will make things only worse as inteligent people seems to see and understand more. And then there is this collision: I'm rich and beautiful, yet unhappy, must be sth wrong with me. Later such people as your kids end up in years of thereapy as they cannot deal with the fact that they were meant to be those successful chosen ones, they have everything yet cannot feel happy and complete. That's because raising kids like you do, is like building a castle on sand. No solid structure, no real values, everything based on artificial believes. I would get an instant depression knowing my parents adopted me because of my looks. That's not love, that's more like a calculated investment, just instead of getting beautiful estate/painting/jewellery you got yourself a beautiful kid. So pathetic. What's even worse is that you seem not to see anything wrong with that... Second scenario is that your kids will grow up to be as shallow as you are, then they will not need a therapy as psychopaths don't even recognize that they are seriously disturbed. And your comment is totally in a psychopathic tone.

@@kachi2782 the thing is, that attractive people recieve jobs way faster or better than not attractive people. The same with attention and so on. What is meant by saying: beauty doesn't matter - is that at some point beauty can fade. Because of illness, by accident or by age. And if you have not evolved a true character until then, you end up hopeless.

that's in a way true... but it shouldn't be. Because then the prettyness comes from pressure and is not natural and it is very easy to lose it, when hard times occur and you cannot spend that much discipline and time on it anymore...

You could see they were made out of glass, Lynette knew she had a temper and knew Carlos would say something if they came up against each other but something like out, now, would have worked just fine. I don't see why Gaby can't show up without a make up for their daughter. Really, the card I am an adult doesn't count. I understand that you get used to wearing makeup and without makeup you can feel ugly, but then you can just wear an invisible stuff, but wellbeing of a child who feels she is ugly and needs makeup is more important. Also, Gaby is beautiful with and without any makeup. P.S. For people in comments section I am not saying kids should wear makeup. If you can't read correctly, I am saying that adults should be more considerate of their kids feelings and try not to use "I am adult, that is why I can" or "I am an adult that is why I am right", they should come up with something better.
@iisuperstarii7310
@iisuperstarii7310 3 жыл бұрын
The i am an adult card definitely does count. Make up is for adults, not little kids. Juanita could wear it when she gets a little older but it's ridiculous for a kid her age. It's the same reason that Gaby is allowed to wear plunging necklines, be married, and have sex. She doesn't need to be an unmarried virgin either to teach Juanita that some things are off limits for her. Her not being allowed to wear make up because Juanita couldn't was ridiculous.
@dreamerdreamer2978
@dreamerdreamer2978 3 жыл бұрын
@@iisuperstarii7310 You do realize that these are the limits created by society. There is no rules saying that kids can't wear a makeup, actually a lot of kids do wear makeup, for example rhythmic gymnasts, dancers, models etc. Some kids wear makeup at school, not bright lipsticks and fake eye lashes, but eye pencils or mascara (invisible), not to mention why kids in primary school can't, but kids in middle school can? I doubt that this is written somewhere as a law unlike the age of marriage and having sex. Also, the point was Gaby should have made feel Juanita more confident in herself as a mother and "I am an adult and you are not" wouldn't make anyone more confident in herself. If it was going to make my kid more confident in herself, I would have went to any event without a makeup.
