Yessir! And all the cuts were around 3seconds in a 8" to 9" OAK HARDWOOD log!!!

I got an 038AV with a 20" bar....the well worn hard to read nameplate says made in West Germany. Long story short, if Stihl is still manufacturing them like they did then, it'll be the last chainsaw you'll ever buy and maybe your offspring won't ever have to buy one when they inherit yours.

That’s a great saw as well! Yeah the older Stihls definitely seem to last a lifetime 👍🏻

You need to mount a table to that so you don’t have to keep picking up the pieces. I did that to mine and it was a back saver.

You don't actually have to rev up the chainsaw before every cut. You must be the same guy who rides his motorcycle past my place at 2 AM every night. The longer the bar, the shorter the d*ck.

Husqies are trash. Stihl is the only chainsaw.

I've cut many a stick lengthwise like that. Some elm about the only way to split. They all pull long shavings cutting this way.

@Doc-Cole_Trickle-of-Chainsaws15 күн бұрын
That 880 might be a good saw but only used a few times a year by a pro tree guy maybe, over weight, over priced IMO, would rather a G660 and 2 Wolves and still have $1k left in the bank but that's me. 2 each their own
