How many miles do you have on your WR now? I started following you because I had plated my 19 WR250F but ended up selling it in favor for a lower maint WR250r. I miss the F a lot

I have 9,000 miles. The F does require more maintenance, but is built very similar to the YZ motocross bike. The engine started blowing the blues at 6,000 miles so I put new piston and rings. The engine does not like long duration of high rpm’s/highway use. The WR250R was built with highway use in mind. I’ve also replaced the fork seals twice. I’m still running the original chain. Outside of those two repairs it is a gas and go bike that I have full confidence in riding anywhere, anytime and have yet to find a better bike that fits my riding style.
