Joe it would be a crime NOT to use your scratch built pedestal

wow Joe, what a difference between your scratch built pieces and the kit parts, and yes it is worth it!

that'll be a lot of missing plastic Joe! is there a danger that the side with all the "missing walls" won't hold together?
@shortcumminsАй бұрын
its always an issue with resin parts, grinding off the pore-block, the difference in detail is stunning

she looks really good Joe, what (if anything) would you do differently if/when you build this kit again?
@JoeFightnjoeMcCaslin6 ай бұрын
To be honest I left a lot out. If/when I get this kit again it deserves a full treatment. It deserves a cut wing with all the detail showing. It deserves a full cut away side.

Very impressive! I really like the cut away sections with all the detail. Well done!

On that rear seam on the underside here's a good way to handle that. Slide in a piece of sheet styrene big enough to fill the gap leaving some excess hanging out. Then hit it with some liquid cement on both sides. Take and clamp it up forcing the lower wing half to the fuselage. The excess will squash out both sides. Let that dry then trim it off sand it up and she'll be good to go.
