Thank you! I’m using t.bone 863 UHF mics, sadly discontinued now - I’ve modded their attachment so they now stick on with hidden magnets. Definitely not my regular setup, more of an experiment!

Does it have the original reeds? The bass sounds a lot smoother than most '30s Hohners I've heard. Or maybe it's just that I've only heard unrefurbished ones...! Anyway, it sounds gorgeous :)

Thanks! It has the original bass reeds as far as I know, though I think Mike Rowbotham replaces the treb reeds with some of the same period. I think the smooth/mellow tone comes simply from having so much gubbins in such a tiny box - they’re gonna get less air. It’s a cracker of a box for sure!
