It was super helpful. I wanted to make a thruster in two modes that rotated 90 degrees (aka vtol), but I didn’t want to study scripts, especially the excessive complexity of the codes in the workshop (they literally make a parallel control system for all thrusters) for my modest task, even though I am familiar with programming. You came up with the perfect solution for me. Maybe I can figure out how to regulate the level of thrust, then it will be even better.

anyway to get these blocks in a pattern not solid green i am having the hardest time figuring out which blocks are which 7:54 time code the first green block on the left is a what?

Subgrids can be annoying. I got these ai HEAT round missiles that are two parts. Built a printer that even automatically gets rid of the rotor heads before printing and putting the two parts together. Then just a timer that repeats on attach. Then I realized id have to manually redo some logic in the front part anyway so it was all for nothing. 😅

Wow. This is amazing. Good work. Nice Car. This is probably difficult to program. I hope one day I understand how it's done. I haven't been playing long enough to have that knowledge yet, but I'm impressed with what can achieve in this game. Thanks for sharing this project and greetings from Poland.✌

What is the Automated Doors script called? I can't seem to find it on the Steam workshop. Amazing design, I'm finding myself liking designs and making them, (printing them), in the MP server I'm on, then to discover that most of them are all your designs. :)

I remember Luca used my Shuttle in 5-6 of her thumbnails. Ironically that shuttle has awful flight performance because I didn't manage to fit more thrusters.

I have found behaviors can be very different on a server. A simple connector on two hinges (adjustable height connector) works great, very stable, but on a server I have experienced a lot of instability - vibrating and making loud noises.

I will be back. Over the past couple of month i had to move my studio, handle some health issues in my family and i was working on another social media project. But most of it is done now and i am planing to bring things back on within the next 2-4 weeks. 😉 Thanks for your very kind comment! ❤️

The most genius way I have seen this solved is to attach the sub grids to the main gird with blocks and have the hinges, rotor heads and piston heads detached that way all the parts are together for welding but you just reattach all hinges, rotor heads and piston heads and cut away the block holding the parts in place. Basically the ship is put together like a model kit would be on sprigs you cut the parts off the sprigs and then assemble the parts.

There is a plugin that provides complete subgrid support for blueprints. Custom guns, turrets, wonky wheels? No problem.
