Nice video. I have a semi-hollow Harley Benton CST, and I installed a pair of "P90s shaped like a humbucker". Probably my favorite guitar to play.

@@davidkulmaczewski4911 thanks for the comment! CST is def a nice guitar, but I should’ve gotten the semi-hollow one (like yours), since mine is too heavy to ever use it live. Still I get a lot of enjoyment from its sound :)

@@vecernicek2 thanks! Yes, it’s indeed a 15 W amp. I haven’t used it extensively for live playing, but it should have just enough headroom if your band isn’t playing too loud.

Blackmore didn't use that much gain. If you hear any of the isolated tracks, the guitar isn't fizzy at all. It's difficult to replicate because he played a modified Marshall Major, which was 200w, more or less wide open. You probably know about the treble booster and the Akai reel to reel. I think a lot of his tone came from sheer volume and pushing the back end hard, not using a lot of gain on the way in. His sound is much cleaner than you'd expect

@@rubievale in general- yes, I agree with you. Gain wise, he began using more of it in the eighties (which is the sound I slightly prefer over the 70s tone, hence my setting in this video). Other thing is- the vox AC preamp, which you’ve forgot to mention. It brings closer to the tone of the records, than using a plexi preamp. At least that’s my experience, after experimenting with both. Aiwa (in a box) and a treble booster are included in my tone. Thanks for chiming in!

Blackmore is distinguished from other guitarists by the way he presses the strings: the pads of his fingers near the nail itself and the fingers vertically relative to the neck of the guitar. As a result, sound is extracted from the lightest press, fingers move easily across countries and the sound is long-drawn.

Faktycznie perkusista trzymał nuty gdzieś blisko, w końcu te sesje odbywają się bez żadnych prób wcześniej :) ale ten ipad co widać na ekranie służy jednak do komunikacji między pomieszczeniami (studio mieści się na dwóch piętrach i jedyna widoczność pomiędzy muzykami jest przez wideokonferencję właśnie). Dzięki za oglądanie i komentarze pod każdym filmem tak btw!
