Everytime I mention ATB and fogger in the same sentence, I catch hell. It's not continuously on full blast. I have it on 15min every 1.5hrs. That's why I hardly mention anything about my husbandry in any post anywhere... Glad to find someone else that does how I do.

Interesting video and congrats on a successful captive breeding. During a January 16 2024 night walk on the Osa Peninsula Costa Rica near Drake Rd. on private property our small group turned up about eight or nine O. granulifera sitting on large leaves near streamside. We did not see any granulifera in the surrounding jungle. However the O. pumilio we observed two days later south of Manzanillo on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica were much more common with an estimation of 30+ individual frogs observed. These were encountered diurnally not near a water source in primary jungle with a thick leaf litter substrate and also climbing on tree trunks. These brief observations suggest that the two species have different activity periods and habitat preferences.

Sand Boas have similar adaptations to anacondas. Both sand boas and anacondas have eyes on the top of their head. Both anacondas and sand boas have no necks so they can do a sideways bite.
