In my playthrough, I shot two times so I definitely believed I accidentally shot Harling, but the second time I used only one and I saw for a split second that random missile and lost my shit. A theory of mine is that obviously this was one of the reckless Gargoyle planes, and since they were the aces at that point and they weren't near the carrier (and most people just shoot missiles at the UAV's), they took their words over Trigger's, which is honestly fucked up.

I have GT1,3,4 and 7 for ps1 ps2 and ps5 I grew up racing on this track on the first game back in late 90s on the ps1 really would love the special stage route tracks from gt1 on gt7

I like how this still makes sense in the narrative later. When Trigger gets vindicated, if you did fire, it's a relief he didn't do what he thought he did. If he didn't fire, being found innocent would be such an insane load off his back.
