When you see the impact on land you can see he landed it perfectly, the truck stole it from him. It's still a make though, 100%

I haven't bought a deck for myself in gosh, 4 years? But that was the easiest, no-brainer deck acquisition ever since the first Gart Sports complete I got shortly after Tony did the 9. Hell yeah. What awesome skaters, photographers and filmers regarding two iconic tricks happening at the same time. I had no idea.

Skateboarding wouldn't be where it is today if it didn't happen exactly the way it happened, being a huge thing on TV that is. If he had just done it at his own ramp with a couple of friends, maybe filmed it and put in in a video part nothing would have changed, it's not the 900 itself but everything surrounding it.

Gotta call this a shit post. I love that he landed it… for himself, and what the timing did for the industry in terms of visibility and $ via xgames but one trick is barely footnote compared to everything else he’s accomplished in his career as the industry had its highs and lows.
