Just randomly remembered that I went on this cruise about 13 yrs ago when I was like 12. I remember my cousin and I kept sneaking away from our parents to pizza pirate. I ate so much pizza on the 3 day cruise that I didn't touch pizza for about a year after that 😂 good times

I think it is prudent not to agree to a free upgrade if you have carefully selected a cabin. Upgrades sometimes move you to an identical cabin in a very unpopular location.

This oceanview cabin is at the front of the ship as per the muster station diagram on the door. It has the single large window so it is likely on deck 3 or deck 4.

I did the Alaska cruise on this boat in early May, everything was great, service with everything was amazing, the food was good at the Lido deck restaurant, the breakfast was a hit and miss because everything was swimming in grease

When my wife and I were much younger, we just wanted the cheapest cabin possible which happened to be inner, low and to the very front. It was a “z” shaped room with a single bed on one end and a sofa bed on the other. We kept hearing the waves crashing against bow of the ship all night but we didn’t care, we just wanted cheap. Now that we’re older, it’s only balconies for us

My wife and I are booked to sail from New Zealand to Fiji return in Feb 2025. We became mortgage-free this year so have segwayed our mortgage payments into a savings account and scraped up $5200nzd for the trip. Our first trip away and also onboard a cruise.

MSC Poesia has serious plumbing issues. My balcony cabin smelled like sewer. Many other areas on the ship smelled like public restroom. Mine wasn’t the only cabin with this problem. The crew apologized but the fact remained that it was an awful experience.
