I give the Suno AI a certain style I want, like Punk/New-Wave and it produce different beats till I get one I like. A lot of people complain the genre doesn't fit with what I say it's supposed to be. Suno must be much more general in their style than what the style you give them as a template. p.s. I usually experiment with blending styles, to get a sound I want, so maybe that's why it doesn't always sound like what people think it should. I usually have to try hundreds, even thousand or two, of times to get something that I like. p.s. #2 Suno changed the sound of music from earlier to 3.0 and I noticed the sound of the music was very different. I prefer the better edge the music had before 3.0. p.s. #3 Here is the style I used for A Heart of Gold Seeking to Find: "Hardcore Punk with heavy synthesizer keyboard and heavy gated-reverb drums" That's what is in the Suno input. The last three songs, A Heart of Gold, Time is Never on our Side and Indomitable are all part of the 3.0 version, the rest were the previous version. last p.s. Suno 3.0 also edited my lyrics, so it skipped over verses, shortened stuff, combined lyrics. The lyrics are a bit different than what came out.

Thank you. It's a combination of three things. The first is a real actress who jumped from, I believe, the letter "H" back in the early days of Hollywood. The second is a song by Hot Chocolate also called Emma and I highly recommend giving that a listen to. The third is this incident is part of a story, it's barely referenced except toward the end of the trilogy, but this incident has a deep impact on the main character.

The song is meant to be from a more innocent time. I'm sure they had a lot that was much more serious, like Cab Caloway's Minnie the Moocher, which I was aiming for something similar with this song, but I wanted to keep it more innocent.

I'm afraid making a tutorial would be outside the scope of this channel, but, basically, I use chatgpt to help me write lyrics for a song. I give it the general story how things go, then I set the theme for the chorus, usually give it some lines for the chorus I want in, like "We'll survive". I write longer lyrics for the chorus, saying what I want, then continue with the rest of the verses. When Chatgpt puts out the lyrics, I read through them and usually have to polish things to get it to say what I want to talk about and replace rhymes I think sound wrong. Chatgpt also makes grammar errors, so check carefully. Then I take the lyrics to Suno and I start with verse 1 and tell Suno the general style of music I want, the sound like '80s gated-reverb drums for that '80s feel and so on. I start Suno without lyrics so I can get a nice intro, then try and try and try until I get a beat I like, then I extend from wherever I feel is right to insert lyrics and I put in verse 1 and extend. I listen to the voices, see if it's what I like and that the singing sounds right, then I continue with chorus and I might add blank sections where Suno might add instruments I want to add, like guitar riffs, then I continue with verse 2 and so on. Suno has problems with songs that are longer than 3 minutes. It tries to end the song when you've still got lyrics, the singing and the music might start getting muddy, it can sometimes be a real struggle to finish a long song. Once you have the song, then you take it to your favorite video editor, edit the song, add images or video and turn it into a song you can place on KZbin.

It was one of those songs I wasn't gonna release, but I went back and gave it a listen to and had nothing else to release at the time, so I released it. It's not bad. You should have heard my Jamaican worm farming jingle. I almost put that one out.
