Hi, and thanks for helping me find the ramp. My son and I fished there this morning - probably the last hour of the run up, and a couple of the run out. Our first cast each, from the ramp, cost us our metal lure and plastic respectively. Do you think the deep hole to which you refer is a "sharp" edge - maybe a remnant of gravel dredging, or is it just a natural edge ??? We both hooked up hard to the "bottom" and couldn't free ourselves. Lots of mullet bouncing around, and a few schools of baitfish, but we didn't seem to entice a hit today. Maybe next time :) Cheers. And sorry, but I didn't catch your name in the videos, so for now it's just thanks mate !!!

Steve Aitken hey mate... The name is dan btw, i have sounded in front of the ramp in the boat, bit of structure no great sharp edge. If you want the flatties best to target them on the out going tide from the first quater to the last. Also working an edge coming off sand/mud flats dose verry well on this tide, hope you and your boy get a few next time

Barungwarra boat ramp... google map it is the best way to find. Its quite a small ramp and may get congested on the weekend

Hi, thanks for the vid. I don't recognise the ramp you're standing on at the beginning. Do you mind sharing? We tried to put in at the ramp behind Westfield Shopping Town last weekend, but some inconsiderate bozos had parked single cars in three of the trailer parks - I really hate that !!! Having an alternate would be a nice thing. Cheers.
