Thanks for the video. My grandfather just passed away and hand me down his Winchester Model 61-22 . Never had one before and this is the first. Was able to do everything you did in the video. Any suggestions on what to use to clean the gun? Not sure what it's worth but personal value is high as im excited to have his old gun.

The issue is with "Unrestricted". Of course it's restricted. If it weren't, the pilots would have whipped the ponies and gone low level. It was just a "high speed" pass as approved by the USAF.

My Model 61 was purchased in 1959. It isn't "tapped" for a scope, since it has two grooves in the receiver for use as a "tip-off" mount for a scope. I have a Weaver B4 scope with a short eye relief that is quite suitable for the minimal recoil of a .22 caliber firearm.

Basicly you have vertically confused others with your bullshit, you certainly do not know anything about firearms, and it's obvious.

If you lock the slide back, it's a lot easier to rotate the takedown lever than to try and do that while holding the slide open with your hand. It makes it easier for those with weaker hands by a lot. My wife can take it down this way, but definitely not the way you did, as she weighs 105 pounds soaking wet.

p38pilotdk01 That’s really good. Have you tried shooting beyond 100m? What’s the accuracy like? There is a lot of reviews on this kit but most up to 50 yards. Also, what’s your experience with different ammo for it? Anything in particular gives you better performance/more reliable? Thanks

@@sergiimartsynkevych2414 I haven't tried beyond 100m. I tend to shoot a lot of Federal bulk packs. Winchester ran well, Browning ran, CCI ran well, Remington golden bullets ran. It tends to run dirty, every 1000-1500 rds you'll need to clean. The only malfunctions that I got is when a .22 shell gets lodged up by the gas tube

I still like them. A drill press is my preferred way of rotating. My reloading style tends to be large batches every few months to 2 years depending on caliber. Accuracy is satisfactory for the plinking ammo I make. I'll be willing to say one could hold within 0.002 inches easily.

@@p38pilotdk01 thanks for the quick reply. Your video helped me decide to purchase the original WFT rather than the WFT2.
