If I learned anything from the great Mike Mentzer, it is that you must keep your back perfectly straight. That form doesn't look healthy. You're supposed to stop and then use your legs to lower the bar, not your back.

I have $8 generic brand lifting straps from walmart that have lasted me almost a year doing 585 lb deadlifts and 405 lb RDLs. You dont necessarily need the most expensive stuff to make gains

ive had pec strains off hack squat. Not a full tear but certainly gave me respect for what can happen. Probably to get a full torn pec you would need a prexisting injury or to be really pushing too far Its caused by partly bad form pushing up too much with the shoulders not the quads and partly maybe using too much weight for your leg and core strength so you start straining other body parts
