I have found that I am not a person who’s worthy of living. It’s time for me to exit this world. I have failed and have begged god for some clarity and understanding… I know that I’m not loved like I thought I was… I’m left to fight something more than my irresponsible decisions in the last.. the genius behind what’s been done was meant for their gain and my loss. Even if I change some things eventually…I’m still a fucking used piece of shit h7man..I was found to be a pawn. Nothing more.. take my life and give them peace

I was under new impression upon learning that there were three ways to enter into the betrothal stage of an ancient Jewish marriage one was through relations. And the consummation of the marriage occurred when the husband took his wife into his home not took as reference to relations. That’s why Christ said “where I go you cannot but I will soon come and TAKE you to myself” that’s the consummation of the marriage between Him and us as the body of the Church. Just wondering if that was misspoke or my other info was misspoke and if I need to read the old Jewish law more. Just want to make sure if I’m giving correct info when I share the truth Thanks so much

I’m still perplexed; as an ex-Catholic, I’m just amazed about how anyone who claims to read, or have read the Bible, from beginning to end, can still stay faithful to a religion that believes in dogmas and practices that are completely contrary to God’s and Christ’s commandments, IN THE BIBLE! The most fundamental person that the entire Bible actually eludes to and then reveals as the ONE true and living God, in Christ Jesus, as the ONLY way into heaven; has been subverted by the Catholic Church for the Virgin Mary, despite Jesus nor God ever prophesying or glorifying Mary in any way remotely close to the level of reverence the Catholic Church reveres her over Jesus! It makes absolutely no sense, BUT if Catholics only read the verses in the Bible that their Catholic patriarchs instruct them to read, then yes that would actually make more sense as to how they would, unfortunately, totally miss the forest for the trees. Either way, it wasn’t until after I started to read the Bible from the beginning, that it dawned on me that I was a part of a totally heretical and paganistic religion, that only happens to use the “belief in Jesus” as a hook to capture and lead more of God’s people into the gates of hell through the unrepentant sin of IDOLATRY. READ YOUR BIBLE, PEOPLE! Go and and fact check everything yourselves! The true Church and body of Christ is all about our relationship with Jesus Christ! Period. No popes, priests, bishops, cardinals, etc. are needed because Jesus’ sacrifice and blood gives us direct access to God the Father IF we believe in Jesus coming in the flesh, dying ONCE for all our sins, and then (us) repenting for our sins and submitting ourselves to the will of God. Fact: the almighty power of God CANNOT, nor will EVER be contained or limited to one manmade religion or any manmade temples! That’s ridiculous and totally insults who God is and His true sovereign will and power OVER EVERYTHING! And the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: “The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough to make sacrificial cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods in order to provoke Me to anger.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭7‬:‭18‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬ And Jesus Christ declares: “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬ Jesus’ Prayer to the Father (no mention of Mary for future veneration): “Jesus spoke these things; and raising His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, so that the Son may glorify You, just as You gave Him authority over all mankind, so that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I glorified You on the earth by accomplishing the work which You have given Me to do. And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed. “I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word. Now they have come to know that everything which You have given Me is from You; for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on the behalf of those whom You have given Me, because they are Yours; and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, so that they may be one just as We are. While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given Me; and I guarded them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled. But now I am coming to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. Just as You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, so that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. “I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. “Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭17‬:‭1‬-‭26‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

I find this very interesting. What about Eve/Mary as figures for the Church? I picked up on that year's ago in my own studies. Truly, the scriptures are amazing, especially when you dive into the deeper meaning. This is what convinced me of the inspiration of scripture.... many authors, over many centuries, mostly unclear about what it all meant themselves, but with this single golden thread, this single voice, tying it all together, pointing to a single person (both Head and Body, if you will). I've been studying the Bible, fervently, for about 20 years now and I am particularly amazed at the typology , but I've never looked into Catholicism. I haven't joined any church since leaving the Mormon church 20 years ago, though I have read some non-Catholic books. I just don't often find people who see the same things I do in scripture, particularly the salvation of all. I think this includes the Catholic Church, though I saw a video recently of a discussion between 2 Catholics on the topic of the apokastasasis and I know that it was a doctrine held by some, if not many, in the early church, including early church fathers. So I may have to buy Dr. Pitre's book, especially since he's also from Loiusiana. 😉

Amen! I just went to a Life Giving Wound Retreat for adult children of divorced parents. Oh boy, what a blessing and profound healing experience. I thought I had already dealt with the pain of my broken family and boy how wrong was I! Thanks be to God. He let me look at my wounds honestly and share the hurt with people who have the same experience so our shared pain was acknowledged and honored. I mourned my loss of parents love. Jesus was there for me during my journey. Because of all the hurts that are not healed, I committed sins, horrible sins. But thank God he gives us the sacrament of confession and eucharistic adoration. I was able to have my sins forgiven and receive his love and mercy abundantly. I was becoming a child again who made a mess then ran to my Father, He told me it was alright and held me tight. He was there along. Oh, man. I wish everyone would have the grace to experience divine healing!

On the historical level, Mary was a very young girl, a weaver in the holy Temple in Jerusalem. She was weaving the Temple curtains, and the priestly garments, a metaphorical and prophetic picture of the function of the members of the Church. On the allegorical level, Mary is the Church under the Law, who gave birth to the Christ, also born under the Law, and the New Testament Church, and Apostles. On the moral level, Mary needed Jesus as much as we do, for she was a mortal just like us. Today, Christian believers weave the garments of salvation, righteousness, faithfulness, and holiness on our souls (the Temples God is seeking for) with the beliefs, doctrines and teachings of Christ. Mary did not die for our sins. It took her a long time to believe that her son was the Messiah they had been expecting. Mary had to repent of her sins just like us.

Roman Catholic dogmas are principles given and formulated by the Roman Bishops inpired by Mystery Babylon. Well oriented with pagan belief and tradition. That is why many of followers are confused including your church fathers. Otherwise, like the Bible said, there should be no confusion. Roman Catholic keep putting words in the mouth of Mary and giving their own interpretation. You are forcing your Mary to be virgin (Read Rev: 12.1-2 that virgin is crying in pain, but she is not the Mary) in order to fit your dogma, and to be consistent to the mystery woman of Babylon (Samiramis) and baby Tammuz as Jesus (search it in Google). This is the Mary you venerate is the same with the most important woman mentioned in Quran. The mother of god, queen of heaven? Mary (mother of Jesus) and Roman Catholic & Islam “Mary (The impostor)” are two different persons named with Mary. Many will be deceived and follow the wide path (Matt 7:13). No one has ascended to heaven except the one who came down from heaven. Who among them saw “the queen of heaven, mother of god” in heaven? Enoch, Elijah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Paul, Steven, or John? These people were taken to heaven. How come no one of them saw your queen? Because she is not the real mother of Jesus (Rev.18:7) that you venerate. In the Bible, the mother of Jesus only uttered 4 times. She’s already fullfiled and now in peace. The woman you call Mary is still very busy, she’s been giving several messages and performing miracles, she is covered with blasphemous names (Rev.17:3). She is the image of the beast that is given the power to talk. Do not be deceived. She is the one mentioned in Rev. 13, 17, and 18. She is but she is not the one. …. I am a Berean

Here as a believer of Christ, but not tied into any denomination. Grew up Pentecostal with Catholic influences as well. If Mary is in fact a part of the entire picture, would practicing jews venerate what they would perceive to be the Messiah's mother? Is that part of Judaism?

Confused here: in Poland, the Church says that women choose a female confirmation saint and men choose a man. Is this not universal Church practice? (Please, refer to authoritative Church documents if you have an answer, not just "my priest said".) It was certainly the rule when I was confirmed in the 1970s in the US. How did Larry choose St Rita? I researched this when preparing adult converts for sacraments of initiation and never found permission for men to choose women role-models or women to choose male saints.

It's not hard to pray when you pray from the heart and not like a robot simply praying prayers by heart. Praying repetitive prayers are difficult because we easily lose focus. When we are too tired, we also naturaly get distracted, so instead we can simply contemplate for a few minutes and pray one Our Father.

I suffer from depression and anxiety. For the past year and a half I attend group therapy. I'm not bragging, but both clients and therapists there consider me to be the most intelligent person in the building. Yes, I'm naturally blessed with high intelligence, and have been blessed with the ability to be highly educated, even though I come from a poor background (according to American standards). I have been an avid reader, and began reading at an early age (I was 6 when I read William Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" I originally planned on becoming a Jesuit priest. I mentioned the Dark Night of the Soul, in one of my therapy groups. I was asked to explain. Our groups are varied, and we don't talk about religion or politics, unless it is a personal experience. I explained "The Dark Night of the Soul", as an experience where everything that you relief on through life, is stripped from you, and you are a bare being, clinging onto reality, but you cling to one thing you believe in. And that gets you through. For myself, that has been God. For others, I believe, hope and pray, that what they cling to, will bring them to God.
