What a waste of 8 minutes of my life. U took apart everything except the actual ignition itself. Where are the wafers? Y didn't u take apart the ACTUAL ignition where the key goes in.

I don't know I you respond or not but I have an issue. I removed the lock cylinder and switch. Replaced the switch and it didn't fix the issue. Now I can't removed the key without tearing down the whole switch and the steering wheel locks the moment I turn it. Lost on what could be the issue.

just take power from anywhere. the lighter for example. the black one just goes to the body. it is just the negative. it has switch and dimmer to control the brightness. it is better to take it from the fusebox by looking for the fuse that goes to the headlights.

You wouldn't happen to have the stainless steel bezel for this would you? I've been searching everywhere for it. APC was the only company to make it. 1997 Yukon.
